the Southeast for christ's sake...I mean with all the riders located here and training facilities it just doesn't add up to me.

I'll be the first to say that I just started following SX/MX full time (all the time) 3 years ago, after a break in the early 2000s. was big into SX/MX in the 90s but just got disinterested and started following road racing full-time. so not sure if there was/used to be a National in the Southeast.

Looked at the schedule for this year and the closest National to me (Tallahassee, FL) is in Wortham, TX at a staggering 845mi or I could try and hit Mechanicsville, MD at 851mi. tough shit for a college kid, with a state-workers budget. thanks, Rick Scott. douchebag.

Would be cheaper to fly, with the gas prices. My suggestion pick one National, say Steele City, it's an amazing race and it's the end of the year and a holiday weekend. Just splurge on the one weekend and trust me you will have memories for a lifetime, you can camp at the track too, the Saturday night antics are crazy but well worth it.

and if you are the father, some example you are showing by coming on an internet forum, and responding to a simple question with: " your too fucking broke, or too fucking stupid" only a matter of time before you end up on welfare and ty in jail with the example and fathering techinque you seem to possess.

My son isn't racing anymore, but I am. You're apparently one of these little punks who posts on here and doesn't even ride! Unless you can throw a leg over a bike and run with my "old ass" your opinion doesn't mean SHIT!!

Now get to hitting those books so one day you can afford to race like I do.... Oh wait, you're probably too much of a pussy to even ride!

Now, back to the subject, you want to see a live race with FAST and GREAT racing. Go to the Mini O's at Gatorback during Thanksgiving! Awesome racing and not expensive at all!

then why would he post a reply to my simple, I repeat simple question with: "you're too fucking broke or too fucking stupid to save money to make it to a race!" I have no doubt the guy is a good guy, so am I but...I have my limits as does Jared. My point being that I wouldn't have posted some smart-ass remark if he were to post a question in regards to something he did not know or have information about. so with that said I apologize to anyone on here who took offense to my sharp-tongue, that includes Jared. I'll go back to being a "punk kid" now...one question, do punk kids develop blood clots? its a bitch to ride with one...when you can. (swelling)

didn't see that one...but Scott is a douchebag, he "promised" state jobs are safe...were walking on egg-shells now, the ACLU is already suing his ass and he now wants to save the state millions of dollars by requiring random UA's for all state employees (whatever) which should cost the State around 3.5mil. He walked in the SpringTime Tallahassee Parade on Saturday and the only thing you could hear was horse hoofs from mounted TPD and boos from the crowd. (largely made up of state workers) I wasn't there, I was a sleep...you nailed it Jared, the 2 for 1 tequila shots at El Jalisco were working. so yet again my apologies. You guys (and moms) live and breath SX/MX just like me, if only I could say the same about my "punk friends" I mean that. If it doesn't involve a stick and ball, they dont care.

You had one it was called Gainsville but they dropped it because the factory teams were crying about having to change bike set ups while they were still in the Supercross season.

Seth, it's all good young man. This place can be a little tough at times. I didn't mean to come across so harshly! Keep working hard young man!

Oh, if you want to see some really good off road action, there is an FTR race in Chipley, about 2 hours west of Tally, on April 16-17, come on over and you'll see some really good racing. It's only $10 gate fee, per vehicle, for as many people you can pile into one truck!!

I don't feel the least bit bad for you. I live in Pa and the nationals is pretty much all we have. All the supercrosses are in the west and south so leave us with some Nats.

You think DC would be able to work it out with the Gatorback track in Gainesville, FL. Man, they need this national.

So, the ACLU is suing him? He must be doing something right.

A bunch of state workers booed him? In our broke ass state that can't afford to pay bills because we have so many people working for the state?

Just because you work for the government doesn't entitle you to a job for life. Get the fuck over it. Florida is broke, and you might be out.

Of those two, go to Budds for sure. I'm close to you and it's and understatement to say the drive to Freestone sucks. And there's nothing else to do, even eat, several nats have that problem. I know we're there for the race but at Budds, there's so many other things to do that you don't feel as cheated if weather or something interferes with the race.

Myabe this has something to do with why they won't have a national in Florida. At least they have an SX.
