Why do the majority of rape victims not come forward?

in your opinion, is this all a made up smear campaign, or was he looked into more thoroughly after changing his affiliation?

I honestly don't know man, dude seems like a weirdo for sure.

But there sure are a lot of instances where stuff like this gets drug up once someone is no longer beating the drum for the Democrats.

I mean....Trump didn't have anyone accusing him of rape back when he was buddies with the Democrats either...

Just kinda makes a fella wonder doesn't it?

That’s why I asked my question on which scenario you think it’s

In no way do I think it’s smear campaigns

I don’t think it’s absurd that once they flip their beliefs, people who were buddies with them that had turned a blind eye, start ratting them out. Or he’ll, even people that tolerated them now don’t mind turning them in.

While ignoring it certainly isn’t good, I don’t think it a bad thing that people start turning on them

But what if he didn't do it?

I think there is a damn good chance that these bitches loved getting dicked down by Brand but now that he has flopped political teams they are losing their shit and claiming they didn't want to get the shit fucked outta them after all.

While it is entirely possible that a man "person" can at any time in their life have a "come to Jesus" moment...many feign religion to escape condemnation or even prosecution.  Nothing new here.

This is exactly why we have the separation of Church and State (law).  Since the only one that knows if a man is truly repentant is God, we (men) must use a law to measure a person's guilt or innocence.

If the evidence proves he is guilty according to a jury...then that's what it is.

Thank you Jesus that I was never rich and famous when I was sticking my dick in everything slower than me.  All you perfect folks can hate if you want.

Suppose so, but we both know the damage is already done and that is the whole point.

Look how many Libtards love to call Trump a rapist even though they couldn't get a conviction....seems kinda similar to this case, gals coming forward 2 decades later after a change in political affiliation, the things that make you go hmmmmmmm.

This happens many times unfortunately. So many false allegations that end up ruining a young man’s life and thereby creating a ‘girl who cried wolf’ syndrome  regarding actual cases of rape. The false accusers should be held accountable.

I'm not a religious scholar but 2 religions (Catholicism and Islamism) that I'm aware of seem to offer the ultimate get out jail (hell) free card, which is sin through the week and go to church or the mosque when required, praise the lord and all is forgiven. That doesn't sound right to me.

Now we know where the lyrics to the song African Baby came from in the Russell Brand movie from years back!

You can be a rapist, murderer, liar, thief, adulterer, or any other iteration of sinner and be FULLY forgiven through your faith in Jesus Christ and his sacrifice on the cross. It does not mean that you didn’t do horrible things and shouldn’t pay for them and be held accountable on earth. It means those things will not keep you from the Kingdom of Heaven. Those who are saying that Christianity is a “get outta jail free card” are severely misinformed about the word.

If they are continuing to live in sin then they are not a Christian.

Rich, powerful people should not be exempt from the laws that the rest of us must adhere to. Especially ones relating to decency and humanity.

Um, you may want to rethink that.  If that were true, there would be no Christians in the world.

Christianity does not teach that becoming a Christian means you stop sinning. It teaches that believers should repent, strive to avoid sin, and seek forgiveness when they inevitably fall short.  Which we all do.

Correct @APLMAN99, I said if they are LIVING in sin. As in continuing to feed into their sinful nature. Proverbs 10:17 puts it plainly and I think relates to this topic-

"Whoever heeds discipline shows the way to life, but whoever ignores correction leads others astray."

What does “The Word” actually say?

Hebrews 6:4–6 — Those who have been enlightened, tasted the heavenly gift, and then fallen away, for whom it is “impossible to restore them again to repentance.”

•  Hebrews 10:26–27 — If we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, “there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins.”

•  Romans 2:5 — “Because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath.”

Scripture also repeatedly warns against the process that leads there (e.g., Hebrews 3:7–13, Psalm 95:7–8): “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.” Hardness develops through repeated resistance to God’s truth and kindness until the conscience no longer responds.

The consistent biblical picture is that forgiveness remains available to anyone who still desires to repent. The danger lies in a heart that has closed itself so completely that it no longer seeks or can receive that forgiveness.

‘Which we all do’ is doing a lot here.

We all know that’s not true.

Why doesn't anyone ever just the simple "I'm gay" defense, what are they going to do, argue with you and call you a liar?
