For the Modern Bike/KTM I use Munn racing & it's here the next day!

For the Maico's it's Maico only!

For my racing partners Honda, it's Honda of Houston.

For oil,filters tires tubes & accessorizes, I use a local dealer.

Especially on OEM Parts I cannot find any cheaper prices then what they have at ProCaliber.com on-line and on orders over $75 they ship for free which is a bonus. Check out www.ProCaliber.com to see for yourself.

Its cool dude, i don' t expect anything free, but i work hard for my money! If i can save money here and there, why not! I m not a hater , does' nt matter to me if riders get hooked up. My point being, you don t have to be a local pro or A rider to get a discount, believe it or not most average riders spend more money than the fast dudes, because the fast guys want free or heavy discounts. Either way it does' nt affect me. I' ll continue to ride and support the sport i love!

As a small business(collision repair) I occasionally do repair and refinish work for several of the local dealers. They don't ask me for discounts, just how much. If a repair is more feasible than a replacement part it's all good. Makes it a little difficult for me to demand x percentage discount on parts. Also makes it difficult for me not to support them as they do me. Not just motorcycle related items, I spend a lot of my money with many of my customers who are dentists, doctors, construction, plumbing, restaurants, fence companies, appliances, furniture.........the list goes on and on.

I can see where some people who work for someone else or a government job might be a little detached or not see it from my view, or may not feel any need to support local businesses, but that is where your hard earned money comes from as well.

Internet shopping is super convenient, and at times can save a good chunk of change. Sometimes that's the only place you can find what you need. I do a good bit of it myself, but I always at least try to spend as much as possible locally.

I try to buy from local. But the biggest problem I run into in local parts is they have to order it anyway! So I find ordering online much more convienent then driving to big shop that is about 40 minutes away and 25 miles each way.

I have bought alot of parts and gear for me and my dirtbike and i have found the nobody can come close to the service and price i get at locox.com! Last thing i bought was a set of tires and it was cheaper to buy them on locox.com then to go the the local bike stores in my city! And they ship stuff fast! i highly recommend going and checking out LOCOX.COM

I used to buy my stuff from motosport. They lost me when I bought a alpinestar neck brace and they sent me a used one twice. The first one came with no plastic bag and no chest strap. It was scratched up from someones helmet rubbing on it so I sent it back and I am pretty sure they sent me the same one back. No I am not kidding. When I called and told them they said SOMEONE would get back to me so I waited a day or two and emailed them. I could tell the kid on the phone with me did not believe me or just didn't care with saying '' its all good dood we'll take care of it''. I quit waiting for a return email. The ball was in there court and they dropped it. They couldnt even tell me if the chest strap was supposed to be included or not. I kept it and am over it. Just FYI
