I don't know about the fast 38 instead of 40, but the main events are going back to a 20 man gate.

if they only take 20 into the main, and 8 out of each heat, there is only room for 38 in the night show to give 22 riders a spot in thr LCQ,
19 v 20 i riders n the heats is not a big deal to me either,

I always thought it should be top 36. 18 each heat and take the top 8. 20 to the LCQ and 4 go to the main.

Good small step in the right direction! As crazy as first turns and first laps are, champions have to first survive the game show Wipeout just to make it to the main.

What GT said. More of the bubble guys (who are still great racers) will focus on AX and strengthen those series. There is decent money to be made there if you can look past the Supercross "dream".

Yes less racers on track in SX is great. I think the field could realistically be reduced to 15-16.
I wonder why only 1 motorcycle for Triple Crowns. Are the teams preferring not to have to spend the money to have a backup bike ready? It seems like it's better for the show if top riders have a backup bike.
Though has a backup bike ever been used before in Triple Crown?

A lot of people on IG are up in arms (pun intended) about no firearm/ammo sponsors. Have we had many, or any, of those in the past? I guess Bass Pro would be the closest I can think of. While they sell those things I don’t think this rule change really targets them.
Feld must have a firearm/ammo manufacturer lined up as a sponsor. They made Reed cover his CBD sponsor, then had CBD branded tough blocks the following year.
Forkner had a SIG deal but I don't think that got put on his bike or any jerseys or anything
Thought he was doing dangerous shit on the track but holstering a p320 takes the cake for sure.

I would like to see 15 gate mains. Bring 30 riders to the night show and 15 make the mains.
