in your garden equipment? I realized yesterday, I'm probably one of few running Maxima 927 in my leaf blower just to enjoy the smell. I could give a shit about how long the thing lasts.

I know, pretty random, man I miss 2 strokes.

I use old premix in all my lawn equipment , even 4 stroke engines.

As long as you don't run around your lawn, elbows up, leaning it in around the trees for hours as you "mow" your yard, I think you're fine. Tongue

The lawn mower, weed eater and the pickup that hauls the bikes to the track all get a good diet of premix.

yes, they run much better on good premix than that horrible lawn boy oil, I worked for a yamaha dealership many moons ago you would be amazed at how many people try to run lawn boy oil in thier yz's and wounder way they fouled a plug.

I run it in the 4 strokes too (Lawn Mower & Weed Whacker), not going to pay to run in my truck or bikes though.

When I lived with my parents my father used to use my "premix" jug all the time for his lawn equipment.

I would come home from school and the yard would smell like cam2 sometimes... was pretty cool.

Yep.....but I think the race gas might have had something to do with the carb going bad in my weed eater.

That's a good idea. I know that nothing gets me higher than the smell of race gas mixed with 927. We have a tight hare scramble loop where I practice sometimes, and if I catch someone who is running it I can be lulled to sleep by the smell if I don't get by them quickly enough. Not good. But for lawn equipment that feeling will be perfect. I know what I'll do with that jug of 927 on my shelf now.

Only the best race gas is good enough for my lawn equipment.

If you miss them then go buy one, they aren't gone.

Cam2. Wow that brought back memories. Remember when we bought race gas at the pump on the way to the track?

Have them.... Does going to a supercross still smell the same to you? When you go to the local track, does it still smell the same as it did 10 - 15 years ago? Maybe your too young to know any better.
