Next to us to install freshly painted pipe and silencer.

Once the engine was completely reassembled, pipe and silencer installed plastics reattached it was time to get the bike down on its wheels for the first time. And then concentrate on the seat.
At this point, I wanted it to test fit the seat pan for fit and finish before I install the seat foam and seat cover.

Time to assemble the seat.

this was a six month long journey with its unique challenges. I am very satisfied with the finished results. I hope everyone has enjoyed this journey along with me.
Took the bike out for a few photos. I hope you enjoy.

A Beautiful Thing!
It will be interesting to see your airbox 'solution', what with ( what appears to be ) the frame cross tube going across the lower area of the carb mouth, and the Pipe above it, and across the ' normal ' airbox area.
PS - VIntCo Fox Airshox?
Actually, that is a stock frame pipe you’re talking about where the engine mount is. There is clearance there for it. The picture you’re looking at is a bad angle. There is plenty of room for an air box and inside the frame. It just has to be custom-made to fit around the exhaust silencer and a couple extra frame bracing tubes at the shock mount area. Like I said, there’s plenty of room in there. It’s just a stock box will not fit.
Yes, Venco air shocks. They are absolutely identical to the original Fox air shocks. I’m very happy with them.
The bike looks unreal! This kind of bike build is the reason why I keep coming back to this forum
Such a sweet build, would love to see a pic of a rider in era gear doing it justice with a nice berm and roost shot!
OUTSTANDING!! Loved watching it happen and thanks for taking us along for the build!
Pit Row
Bike looks amazing, thank you for sharing the project with us
Yeeeaaa,
One sweet build, or is it one sick build?
Whatever, pretty awesome!
So, what's the plan, race it, hang it on a walk in your house, show bike, or keep it in the stable so every time you walk into the garage....there it is in all its glory !
I like the hang it on a wall in the house idea myself.
I have been following this build since it started, as I am building a 76 CR125 FMF replica. You have done amazing work! Can I ask what plastic you are using? VMX? Also, what tires are you running?
Thanks!
