I have a hard time believing Tedder is paying Webb the most he’s ever made on a team. He was a multi time SX Champion signed to factory KTM and Yamaha. Surely he was being sarcastic?
Herlings ,just talking like he's hanging around in the shop talking privately with buddies.I love it ,but some of that stuff is going to piss off a few and get some tongues wagging. His truth and hope he never changes.Still the fastest and no F&$@s given.
Thats what I thought too. But he really insisted that he was serious. Then he went on to say that he was cooked moneywise with Davies and Haiden being there, so maybe he was just referring to his recent Star contract, which is more plausible (even though he said most money he has ever made).
Either way, I can’t wait to see how well Webb does. He seems genuinely happy to be back on an Austrian bike. He really made me a fan of his this year.
Great interviews!
Tedder flush affffff... now they throwing some around...

Probably most money not taking inflation into account.Could be possible, who knows who else is stepping up and sounds like he believes hes going to be taking advantage of those BIG win/podium? bonuses he mentioned.
Awesome interviews, there’s so much information in there.
I don’t think he was taking inflation into account or he would have said so.
His other contracts were probably more performance based with big win bonuses. Maybe this one is a higher base pay with less bonus money?
He states the largest bonuses of his career as well in this contract.
You gotta figure his initial contract with KTM wasn't for big money. Remember he was damaged goods coming off Team Yamaha
Lewis is the best interviewer in mx, especially if it’s someone he knows well.
Listening to that guy is way beyond my strength. He really should write more.
The Tedders have a huge electrical company and I believe they were innovators in the underwater electricity field, they have deep pockets and I wouldn’t doubt if they paid him more then he’s made elsewhere to get a Cooper Webb on their team. Do you think he’s made more than $1 million as a base contract with a manufacturer? That’s the number that they’d probably have to too imo. The Tedders were also early investors in Monster, so some of that money could be coming from Monsters pockets and not all of Tedders.
Two weeks in a row Lewis gave us great insider info on WSX, the latest being a "do or die" deadline for... last wednesday (3 days ago). Then, nothing. If WSX would indeed have missed that deadline, this would significantly affect Cooper Webb's business, for instance. Yes it's MXDN but Lewis still needs to follow up on his previous podcasts, imo.
I watched the whole video, Lewis was coming with some good questions that you wouldn’t get from any other sites. Good job big lew
Most interviewers I don't bother watching the content, usually just bland cookie cutter generic conversations.
The riders seem to loosen up and be more open with Lewis, really some great insight to the behind the scenes lives.
Herlings and Webb's interviews were great, very interesting. Listening to the Seewer portion now.
It would be cool to see Seweer race a 250 in the US nationals like lew was saying. Make it happen lew
