East vs. West now which is better?

Many claimed that the racing would be far better in the east with a deeper field and better tracks but now that we are three races in, what do you guys think? Looks about the same to me, broken hands on both coasts! But maybe even more action on the west.

East has had 3 races and three different winners. Looks like 5 riders can win. Baggett, Sipes, Wharton. Barcia and Wilson.

Wilson is head and shoulders faster than anyone but Barcia on the east. And Barcia is injured. Deano needs to stay out of the crap on the first few laps. That being siad, their first round was better than any west races so far.

I think Dean'o has the most speed but BB is a close second. Barcia, Sipes and Wharton a tick or two back from the PC guys.

Both coast's are good, the west top guys are mostly veterans the east top guys are mostly rookies or somphomores. It will be a good outdoor series.

I think Barcia, healthy, is the fastest. What is his plan for that wrist? I find it almost crazy to continue to race with a known broken wrist. Dude is an animal.

The first round he was healthy and won... That being said I don't think he was the fastest guy on the track. He got a great start and out raced Wilson who was faster but through out an anchor. BB had the fastest lap times but horrible luck.

So yes I think Barcia's speed is a bit off of the PC guys.

No way, I was in Houston and Dean couldn't reel in Barcia for a pass. They were pretty close together for the whole race, but Dean couldn't get around him towards the end.

but, I would go with the EC...you have five guys that can win (Barcia, Wilson, Baggett, Wharton, Sipes) and four that could potentially be podium contenders (Stewart, Larsen, Anderson, Trettel) who know if things go there way they could also be able to pick up a win...(Baggett last year)

WC is a three-horse race b/w Hansen, Tickle, and Tomac...the only other person with a shot at a podium is Roczen.

Also, Baggett has been FAST every round. He had the fastest lap in Houston coming up through the pack... If he would have gotten the start, he would have been mixing it up for the win. He had the fastest laps in Daytona, also. He hauled azz for all 15 laps.

Depth? I think the West has more talent...and more consistent talent, than the East.

BUT...the top guys on each coast are comparable speedwise.

Im going to say west, still has an edge....i havent seen an east coast 250f race as exciting as the 250f race at dodger stadium, with tomac hanging off the bike, hansen taking foos out, roczen scrubbing the shit outta everything etc...Im saying West hands down....you guys forget pretty easily it seems

If by "win" you are referring to individual SX races, and not the East Coast series, then I agreed; however, I probably wouldn't discount Larsen and Stewart from your list of potential race winners.

How PC of you Wink its not over yet but to date i think the west riders are a bit better overall. Can't wait to see how this all plays out!

Exactly. His style is silky smooth and very fast. All 3 rounds he has been the most impressive to me. I think the only west coast riders that would be up there in the East are Tomac and Hansen. I would say Roczen but his inconsistency makes it hard to judge where he would be.
