It's a little early to say, but I think Drew Adams, barring injuries, is going to be the guy to revive Kawasakis 450 program.  He's a big solid kid who's immediately going to be faster on a 450.

I want Drew to win, been a fan of the young man since 65 days. But I haven’t seen anything out of his pro career to say he going to be towards the top of the box of a 250 yet alone a 450.

But no, he didn’t have a separate rig for him, he ran three bikes at each race out of the same rig.

I could make an argument that a kid that size is being held back by a 250cc motorcycle.

Edit- PC website states that he is 6’2” and weighs 185 lbs😆😆 no argument is needed, he is being held back.

Have not seen anything from Adams to lead me to believe he’s the savior at Kawi

2013 450 outdoors. Rattray and Wilson, Dean only rode 2 nats on the 450 before crashing, hurting his shoulder.

Tickle and Rattray rode PC 450 in 2012, Rattray outdoors only.

That's pastrana's stats when he won a national title, and 125 sx title on a bike with more than 10 less hp.

Adams will have to show something before a 450 factory ride is even mentioned.   Ben riddle was fast as heck on an RM 250 as well,  never earned the spot.

Yeah absolutely, I am just making an observation that Drew is a rather large human being and that the 250 is underpowered for a kid of his size. Also using the simple equation (TP>DA) you can see that the comparison of the two is preposterous. 😆

Regardless of the quality of the bike, I have developed a new found respect for Marchbanks and his determination to do the best he can with what he has. No complaints, no drama, just effort. Outdoors, he was typically not starting out front, but consistently was moving forward.

If the bike is not capable, how can a roughly 10 year old designed Suzuki win the 2026 SX Championship?

Congrats to all the riders for their efforts in 2026.

Seems to me you could include Honda, Yamaha, KTM, Husqvarna, Ducati, Triumph, Gas Gas and Beta as well based off the SX final results...
