The dude won a title in 2025 won races in 26 there’s a handful of riders that can win races and titles and he’s one of them.

Colt Nichols is rumored to be on the top of Ducati's list at the moment. Both of Ducati's 2026 riders had a chance to stay for 2027 and one retired and one left. I doubt Chase is going there.
Colt could be a decent test rider at best at this point but he hasn’t had results since he left star 250s.
Well...he's sh*t on Honda, he's sh*t on KTM and now he hates the Kawi. All the while two of the brands have won A LOT without him. That's not a great track record of late.
He's been burning bridges with every team he's left. It's not a good look or very appealing for other prospective teams. From the outside looking in, he doesn't seem like an easy athlete to work with.
Yeah, don't get people saying chase will go to Ducati.
He wants off Kawi because of Bike. You think he then goes to a brand that seems to be the furthest away from having a competitive bike, and where both riders quit? 🤦

Come on guys, why the eff would Ducati want Chase? You really think at this point they would want a rider who has a history of blameing the bike for eveything? Why would a start up, mx, manufacturer put themselves in that position? You know the idea is to sell bikes right?

Maybe the Ducati would suit him. Nothing else seems to. Nobody, including Chase, seems to know what he likes/wants in a bike.
Why? Along with multiple championships, he's one of the few guys that can actually win races.
Winning races is a big thing for a MFG... And Ducati wants to win. Not getting that with Colt nichols.
Do they have the resources? Are they ready for a talent/head case like Chase? We may, or may not find out...
You would have to be crazy to believe that any factory team has blackballed Sexton. Dude can straight up rip. Will he likely take a haircut in compensation on his next stop? Almost assuredly. Worked out okay for Prado.
And won a lot with him.

If all these guys are healthy...Chase will have a HARD time ever winning another race...Deegan, Prado, Jett, Hunter...plus even Roczen and Webb have all raced more than CS in the past year...and isn't Davies coming to the 450 ranks in 2028?? Sexton is on the older side of his winning days and he crapped on a lot of brands. Did he win, yes. Can he win now and actually be a championship contender again??...doubtful.
You clearly have never sat in a managment meeting before for a company trying to "make" money.
He is 5 years younger than the current SX champ and the same age as the current MX champ. Also 5 years younger than the current MXGP champ. He will still be in his prime the next few years, and hopefully the time away puts him in a better place mentally. He has seemed miserable for a while now.

A healthy Chase isn't beating any of those top 4 guys. Sexton is too big of a friggin head case. I'd be surprised if he ever wins again. And, he's never winning another 450 championship.These top 4 guys are just too good.

He won on the worst bike hes ever ridden last year, his words. He’s never been this uncomfortable on a bike before, and he won 2 races.
And...that same bike almost ended his career. Chase needs to be comfortable all the time or he is a ticking time bomb for mistakes.
