Maybe my math is off, but if Deegan had let Hunter pass him I believe Prado would have been pushed back to 3rd overall and Deegan would have won the title?
1. Deegan 1-3 = 4
2. Lawrence 3-2 = 5
3. Prado 5-1=6
Deegan lost by 7, but would have won by 3 if the results were as above?

All Prado needed was 3rd overall. He had a 16 point lead.
No. Deegan won the overall for this race but he would have lost more points in the overall series if Hunter passed him. Prado needed to finish second if Deegan won.
