More what I was expecting with the SMX tracks…

Looked nice but produced no action in either moto so far.

Sad to say that i agree with you, it looked great, but the racing wasnt good, strung out quick, the best race was the girls IMO. 

If they didnt put rollers around 80% of the track it would have made the racing way better. 
They should have left the sand sections flat to give a bit more line choice. rollers around sweeping turns is only ever going to give 1 decent line. 

The venue and setting were a nice place.  However their readiness for the amount of people was bad, it was too many people for such a small space and it ruined a lot of the viewing.  Food was a total failure.  Plus $140 per ticket with a chair for what it was is a total ripoff I'll watch from the couch next year.  More expensive than an outdoor but worse all around in my opinion.  

Not sure when they'll work out that 180 bowl berms make passing opportunities, 90's and sweepers,  not so much.....

Yeah, food might have been the worst of it.  They totally fornicated the pooch there.  When you got to the front of the line, you basically had to take whatever the next food they put out was.  Shelves were completely empty causing 1 hour lines to get food.

The chairs made them huge $$, it was a shit $5 chair.  But worse was just having them there.  You could be sitting on the lawn and someone would  just plop down their chair 2ft in front of you and say oh well.  Saw it multiple times and nearly a couple fights over it.   Ultimately, everyone stood throughout each moto anyways.

Even with the blaring deficiencies…. My wife said it was the best atmosphere for a race that she had been to.  They’ll get better at it.

I couldn’t agree more. Great venue, but definitely needs tweaking. Literally zero respect from people who would just pit a chair where ever they wanted. 

Definitely should have had lines painted in the grass, or something. I saw many with blankets taking up the spot where 4 chairs could fit...with 1 or 2 people on the blanket. 

We got there at 3:30 and had to 'squeeze' in with our party of 4.... might have been in front of somebody, but nothing obnoxious. 

What was obnoxious was people getting there Friday and early Saturday leaving chairs and blankets sitting there all day, with nobody showing up until just before race time. 

I'd like to see the 'center hill' section be assigned 'spots'.... 

The track was a beautiful setting, looked great, great use of space, but it was too easy and had zero separation. The first turn determined everything.
