Ya idk about mechanics but some riders will hook up certain guys if they win a title. I was told Webb promised $100k to Ricki Gilmour if he won the SX title and was told he delivered on that promise.
Jason mentioned PRMX on Yamaha. But nothing concrete, only that they would like to have a rider like Sexton. (Edited)
Interesting speculation although not particularly ground breaking. It is also the perspective of someone who made pretty adamant statements about the level of certainty that Chase would be leaving Kawasaki. It sounds he's balancing the statements he's made with the fact that he might be wrong and is acting on an awareness that the things he says contribute directly to his credibility in the world of SMX media.
Chase will stay with kawi imo, nowhere else really for him to go. Hondas set, KTM wouldnโt take him back, STAR has Deegz and Davies in their lineup, Suzuki has Kenny, Chase has to make the best with whatโs heโs got. Like i said before, I think he comes out firing for 2027.
Brother did you listen? I did not hear anything about the trt yamaha privateer team ๐ I heard them talk about PRMX which is switching to Yamaha & he already rides with them but I do not think heโs going to do that.
back in the day all the factory teams had more than 2 riders. I bet he ends up factory somewhere, theyโll just make room. Wasnโt KTM looking for an American rider who can win? Well. Heโs your best shot. Bobby Regan? Heโs all for doing something like this. Honda? Probably not HRC but could he go to quad lock with factory Honda support? Maybe? Suzuki looks fairly proven lately with Ken & Anderson, rumors are Barcia is going there buttttt he said Friday that he has not signed yet. Feel like theyโd all at least entertain the idea to have Chase.
I agree with this. Add tedder to the list. If they're going all in and money doesn't seem to be limiting factor, why not the factory husky? The issue isn't whether he could find a ride, it's whether he can get out of his current contract. If he can, I'm sure he'd have a couple bonus heavy factory contracts to choose from.
Money could very well be a limiting factor. Bobby let Tomac go because there wasn't money for 3 riders.
