Not going to take the Deegan bait, but I think this needs to be re-assessed.  The series scoring is a bit of a gimmick. ChatGPT estimated attendance at 15k based on videos.  Who knows? Think fan burn out may be a factor.  Not sure a 3 round “play off’ is being well received.  If it is going to be a hybrid race then have truly hybrid tracks. Parts of the concept I like. Implementation is weak so far this year.

Elis heart and head were still in it then. Since his injury where he was nearly paralyzed while having another baby he lost the fire. Once its gone its almost impossible to get back. Same happened to forkner after his near paralyzation too. Once the illusion is broken and you realize youre mortal the cats out of the bag and cant be put back in. Cant blame him, everyone loses it at some point. Hes had an epic career, its just his time now. It could happen to ken too, but at the moment he is still able to ride in a way conducive to winning. 

Roczen only getting faster. Imagine him in a couple years. 

Maybe but those 450 contracts ain't that easy to come by.
