2027 MX Gear

Legit wish someone made kawie lime green + medium blue gear.  It's either acid yellow & blue or dark green & blue.

Some of the 2027 Alpinestars gear. No new SM10 colorways, but a TON of new goggle colors and SM7 and SM3 colorways.

I've been running the Supertech goggles since they came out. I had them on the day they were made public. And I love how easy it is to change a lens and not get it covered in finger  prints .  I have had a customer say it feels like its not allowing much airflow into the goggle from the vents, That it feels much better sealed than the Armega's he also has.  He said he it was strange at first.  I have not noticed anytyhing like that , but I used Scott Prospects  before , and the Supertech goggle is a better fit for me . Not that I had any issues with the Prospects. I just like the fit and way the lens changes on the Supertech goggles better.

I put photos of all of the new MX pant/jersey combos for adult kid and women. All of the new helmet colorways that I saw and all of the Supertech goggles.  There are some new enduro version boots and colors here and there. I didn't bother posting those since its more enduro boots that are new. I think there is a new tech 10 colorway in standard and vented and might be 1  new color in the Tech 7.  I did not post them, but there are a bunch of new colors in the kids boots from what I remember.   I saw all of this stuff a while ago so its hard to remember which stuff is really new, and what is just newly public. So I relied on the filter on the website to show me what is new. I could have missed stuff. They have such a big catalog of gear. There is some other protective stuff and gloves that I did not post images of either. But its all on Alpinestars Website, and Parts Unlimited has a catalog that shows most of the protective gear, boots ,helmets, goggles and gloves that You can flip through online if You go to the Parts unlimited website then catalogs and click the 2027 Alpinestars. It will NOT have the MX pant/jersey's in it though. And Alpinestars themselves do have some exclusive sizes and colors in some of the boots and goggles and helmets.

Is your gear slim or standard fit? Does it tend to run true to size?

The pants are pretty much spot on to most, the jerseys are close or on the slightly big size compared to some brands. I always tell people if you want a tighter jersey just go down a size.

The gear in general is a more standard fit though, not the barcia tight stuff ( I am testing some of that now though lol ).

you can always email me or dm me on IG at asagiwear@yahoo.com, I have tons of pictures of me and others in various sizes all wearing the stuff I can share with you.

Will you ever offer vented versions? Was just about to check out and realized that wasn't an option

I can do full vented jerseys, I’ve had several made just no one ever really asks lol. But I can 100% do full mesh jerseys, the pants I could add holes also but haven’t there pretty lightweight and if remove the mesh liner they breathe really well.

If you wanted a vented jersey I could send you photos of the ones I’ve had made. Just shoot me a email.

I haven’t used the roll offs yet but I have been using the supertech goggles since they came out. I’ve run prospects before too and to me they are just too tall and push the goggles down on my nose. The Armega was fine for me but when I switched to the supertech it is a little shorter and what I found was I got far more air flow to my face because of it. My only gripe initially on the astars were the straps were too stretchy. I just got some of the new 27 models and they are 3x as thick and have way more tension which I like.

I've been using the Supertech goggles and have not tried the roll offs yet. But I was wearing Prospects before. And the Supertech is a smaller overall size, but still gives the wide viewing angles of the Armega and Prospect.  There is more space for a larger nose with the Supertech than the prospect.

The things that made me fall in love with them are how easy and fast it is to change the lens. I've shown so many people and then have them try it themselves and it takes about 5 seconds  to do the first time  with 0 figure prints on the lens.

I feel like I can see better with the lenses they use VS the prospects.

They fit my Alpinestars helmet very well.

The way the foam is shaped and the density , it seals well without needing the strap super tight.

I do not have any of the 2027 versions. I've got  a pair that I've been using since the  day they were publicly available and they are holding up as well as any other brands I've had.  The new strap sounds good.  I'll have to look and see if the replacement straps they offer are like the 2027 straps and maybe I'll get a fresh strap.

The  lenses seem to be about the same as far as how they hold up. But since they are so easy to change, I end up rotating lenses into the color frame I want to run. So it feels like they last longer since I swap out lens for conditions . I have the stock mirror lens,  Yellow, and a clear .  I might try a blue lenses too I've always liked them.  But those 3 seem to work for most conditions.  I need to grab some dual pane lenses for the winter . I have some prospects that I have been running in the snow since there wasn't any dual lenses available at first.  And I had been using Prospects for a while and have lenses and tear offs still. I've used the Supertech in the snow too and it works well for a single pain lens . But I should get the dual lens now that they have them.

And I wanna try the rolls offs this fall and winter at some point.  Most of my customers who have bought them are all motocross guys and MX races tend to get canceled these days when it rains , so I do not know anybody with much time using the roll offs on them yet. Most of them have been running the regular tear offs.  I've used both regular and laminates. I have not tried the perimeter sealed laminates yet myself. I'm playing around with some of the fancy films that are hydrophobic  to see how they are.

Roczen's yellow black and blue fox gear at this SMX round is absolutely fire. Fox is always killing it on the gear combo. Though the last set I had didnt hold up well.

I’m just getting back into riding after 10 years off,  none of this skinny gear looks appealing. Lol I’m not fat but don’t like spandex jerseys!  Any loose fitting gear? I really like Alpinestars and fox, maybe Thor, but not into that real tight stuff.

I don’t think A-Stars or certainly Fly are tight at all.

From my experience most brands budget line's fit looser.  Although you'll probably have to give up some stretchiness.

Canvas has met that happy medium for me.

Mikes Asagi wear looks to as well. Plus with either youre supporting relatively little guys.

I wish canvas offered zippered pockets for us offroad/non-racer types. I might actually pull the trigger on designing my own gear if that was the case.

After having gear with pockets it’s hard to ride in anything else for big rides.

So when is this Fox gear ever gonna get released?

If you want to avoid more fitted gear, fox 180/360 will work. Alpinestars fluid, Fly Kinetic, Thor Launchmode, FXR Apex/Clutch, generally like others have said, more affordable lines tend to have a more relaxed fit

The Launchmode line from Thor is not the tight style fit.  I have some myself and it fits just a hair tighter than the Moose gear I have in the same sizes.    It fits pretty true to size too. But you may still wanna try going up a size  if your on the fence about what size to get in it. Its really best to try   gear on before you buy it.

I always loved Thor back in the day but all of their stuff looks fitted and snug like Under Armor. I was reminiscing after finding some old riding pics from 2006 and decided to browse the Thor website. Much to my surprise they still make “normal” fitting gear. I have never seen this stuff on any of their social media, or their paid riders?? I’m going to order a set soon, I look forward to their 2027 lineup

I still have a set of Thor pants and jersey from '08 😄. They were hidden in back of a closet and forgotten, still new! Compared to my current gear the material and construction of them feels so much better, imho.

Wow, I’m jealous! I was so excited about the new No Fear gear but after seeing photos of it, it just looks like printed material. The older stuff was layers and layers and very heavy duty. I’m thinking of trying Troy Lee stuff next.

I havent bought new gear in a while. When I saw Justin Cooper and Deano wearing this during supercross I knew I had to have it. I bought the pants and jersey one size larger than normal. Pants are fine, but wish I would have gone up two sizes on the jersey. With my alpinestars MX air chest protector on underneath its pretty snug. Never owned any oneal gear before but pretty happy with the fit and quality. Was a Thor guy early in my racing career but the last few years havent impressed me. Switched to Fly and been using them up until I got this set. Wish more gear companies would use brighter colors/combo's. There's too much black/white/gray crap in my opinion these days.

Where is the Fox 27 stuff?

It’s been in dealers for weeks here in NA, a few issues getting everything to everyone globally so the embargo was lifted just now/today.

Every Fox dealer in NA has sets of 2027 180 on the wall right now. Happy shopping!

2 years in a row Fox has let me down, you would think since they have some of the best talent around the world with them they would be making some killer stuff!
