Yeah!
You knew it was coming 😎
Congrats on the win - more to come!
Congrats he won a mudder!!
Good job. As Ricky said "if you give him a crumb he will take the whole loaf"
That remains to be seen, one mudder in a Playoff dosent make a "real" championship though.
However, well done Deegan.
Was a big deal when AP won.

Full credit for the win, he rode great.
Like him or not, he still beat the 21 other badass riders in the mud. Good ride kid
Best rider on the day, can't take that away! Like he was riding on a drier track. Seemed pretty humble in his speeches I saw, congrats to him for the win!
Deegan is the number one sx rider in the world right now.
I had a feeling he was going to come out swinging.
Now, can anybody raise their compete level and challenge him?
He had no competition today.
😊🤷🏿♂️
Yep because he’s not a typical winner 🤷♂️
It's impressive how well Deegan rode and how far off the established stars were. Not just that he won, so really congrats on two solid motos. If he had mixed results you could say "he got lucky", but he really dominated. Mud or not, a race is a race.
DEEEEEGANNNNNNN! F yeah! I can’t even imagine if it was the other way around and Deegan got lapped twice. You haters would be blowing this place up. Idc if it was a mud race, he dominated. More to come 🤙🏽 let’s gooooo
Normal results will follow come next weekend.
Sure buddy. Just take it easy the rest of the day. I know you were just fuming for two motos.
Yes 1-1 is the new normal, get used to it.
I was waiting for him to say something silly but he was actually even likeable haha so hopefully all that other unneeded shit is just a character he leaves behind (IMO)
Definitely not the same. AP7 didn’t come out wearing a RIP JETT shirt lol.
All that aside though, Deegan looked great today, super consistent and looked in total control.
I was actually impressed with his interviews. I actually like the shit talking, but at the same time him being humble is a new take when he wins
Finally a normal interview even after the race! If he can be normal and keep his trap shut with all the fabricated drama and let the riding do the talking he’ll be the fan favorite! Actually refreshing for Deegan standards. Fool me once though……
Pit Row
He had no crap talk outside of maybe 4 times throughout 3 whole months, since may. He was humbled, if you can’t see that, your blind.
I like the crap talk too, I kinda miss it after he’s been getting humbled 3 months straight. He's said a few little chirps here and there though.
He’s fabricated drama his whole career so far. Came in hot this season with all the typical talk and got a serious reality check. Kept quiet like a good little boy. We’ve seen this before. “Humble” he only talks smack when he’s on top, pretends to be a church boy when he gets beat. This Deegan we saw today was refreshing hopefully he keeps it up and stays genuine. With his puffer lipped daddy in his ear I don’t think we’ll see this version of donger last long. One can only hope he continues the “real” version of himself….
He is already a fan favorite. He has the longest autograph lines and people were going nuts in the stands the last few laps both motos for him.
Vital is not a true representation of the fandom.
Truly impressed with Deegan. He is such a good mud rider!... Prado tried, but Deegan was hands-down the best.
What is interesting with amateur eyes is to see how bad the Lawrences are in the mud, remember Jett in Sand Diego (I think it was) and now Hunter, both ride mud really bad, look so bad it's embarrassing... most stupid question of the day but, is there any possibility that their perfect technique doesn't translate to mud at all... and Deegans 'bad ass riding' works much better in mud.
Congrats to Deegan!
I never doubted his riding ability one bit. His post race interviews make me believe he is heading in the right direction as a person as well.
While I think there's a bit of hyperbole in your post haha I do think with their technique being so precise and usually putting their wheels exactly where they want them, if their wheels aren't where they want them they're uncomfortable pushing where as Deegan has more of a 'it'll be right' kinda technique..
1 win does not make a 3 round pretend championship.
Ya the funny part is there are many coping Jett die hards that will say Deegan was lucky Jett is sitting out. As if his cankle stood a chance in those conditions.
The kid rode well and his interviews were much better, but the whole “give this kid some confidence” narrative needs to stop. Confidence has never been an issue for him, but he still went 0-22 this summer. He needs quite a few wins before I anoint him as being better, or even in the same category as, Hunter, Jett and Kenny.
He should wire tie chop sticks to his grips and belly flop into the mud. Then he could be crowned the best mud rider, with actual results to back it up.
