That’s a bold prediction Cotton…..
Lucas is actually like the Hunter Bro’s he is very smooth and calculated in his style. His brother is more like Tomac or Deegan in giving it his all no matter what.
the sooner sacha and lucas get experience with US SX the better...........I can see quite a few diggers for sacha indoors...hopefully 250 sx will not be so intense for him thou.
Strange what different people see when watching racing.
Lawrence bros are boring? I love watching their style.
Coenen bros are both out of control? Lucas'has developed into a very calculated rider since getting on the 450, Sacha is the wild man. Imo part of that is due to being short, where you don't have the leverage of a taller rider to compensate as easily and look as fluid. Think RC, Stew.

Remember this ?
16 year old, Jett led 16 laps of the main event before crashing on the final turn while battling Dylan Ferrandis for the win. He suffered a broken collarbone and a concussion from the crash.
They live pretty close to you not? Hossegor the California of France!
If Sacha is riding for Alpinestars in 2027 how much you wanna bet he wears an airbag ?
Magoo 2.0 is gonna need it.
Who cares? I bet Jorge would trade all of his world titles to go back in time and come to America at 20
I bet Mitch is foaming at the mouth to sign this kid seeing how much he crashes and gets hurt
He'd still have two MX2 titles and one EMX125 title if he went over at age 20.
Nah. He hasnt missed a single race in 2 entire seasons. Not many riders on either side of the pond can claim that. Mitch doesn't pick guys like that
We can count on the Coenen brothers to make things more interesting in '27. It will be great to see them give the Lawrence Bros a run for their money.
Sacha should be great for marketing the A- Stars air vest.
Alpinestars autonomous electronic airbag system inflates in 20 to 50 milliseconds to protect your chest, back, shoulders, and ribs during a crash.

Yes, Bud Racing is in Hossegor and their training camp is in Magescq, the Lommel of France (only bigger, with multiple tracks). I wouldn't be surprised if one day you'd see an MXGP organised there, it is that good. The Coenen's loved the place and find it convenient to train so they stayed here (20km from Hossegor also) even after they stopped riding for Bud Racing. They have 2 SX tracks where they live + there is one in Magescq. They have US specs bikes at home already. They will race Paris. They might surprise a lot of people about their SX level, or not. It will be very, very interesting (the world will be able to watch on mxgp-tv, as usual). Lucas will race the likes of Roczen, AP7, Mookie, Vialle... Sacha will be in the mix with the French SX Tour guys + a few US or Aussie wild cards, so not a lot of pressure, they'll be there to learn (I know, they said that for Thunder Valley / Southwick as well 😅).
Stock up on canisters while you can. 😀
If he doesn't injure himself crashing, Alpinestars would appreciated the advertising.
Watch Sacha come out and win the 250SX title next year.
That’s impressive as hell, the narrative makes it sound like he’s injured and sitting out half the time
Pit Row
I've never looked, but I've also never come across a Sacha Coenen "Crash Highlights" reel. If one doesn't exist, it's because anyone who's attempted became so overwhelmed by the sheer volume of clips while gobsmacked crying and laughing.
That mythical crash reel is going to take over your social media feed when Sacha starts SX.
The kid is amazing, but I fear his ability to walk away from 95% of his crashes unscathed may come to abrupt halt when he begins racing indoors.
If there's one rider Sacha reminds me of, it's Zach Bell. Remember him?
Really hope he takes his time to figure things out, because I'd love to see him race long term in the US.
YouTube limits video length to 12 hours, many crashes would be left out.
I thought id never seen a rider who hangs it out more than JS7 until this kid.
Im kinda worried if he brings thay same style to supercross, but at least it will be fun to watch.
You never know, he could. Nobody including me expected Vialle to win even 1 sx title and no mx title here.
I suspect he is going to figure out SX pretty quickly. I'm sure Mr. Dungey will be having a few coaching sessions with him. I don't think he will ride SX the same way he does MX.
Of course, I could be wrong.
