Not surprising seeing that zx moto looks like it uses the exact same engine as kove.

ZX Moto's founder was one of the founders at Kove.

Wouldn't be surprised if JHL Moto goes full time in the next couple of years.

So we're excited about Chinese knock-off bikes?....isn't the JHL just an exact KTM copy?

Looking at the JHL above, the engine sure doesn't look like ANY KTM I've ever seen.

Looks heavy though!

The 250f is already available in USA for $6k. The 250f engine is same 2nd gen design kove, zxmoto and JHL are using. Power is similar to current rmz250 but not as strong as some of the latest bikes. Maybe it can get there? Bosch EFI, weight is around 235lbs, kyb suspension with sss forks. These are real deal mx bikes. The 350 is based off design similar to 2016 350sxf engine but I don’t believe that is ready for sale yet. Frame is similar to current Beta or 2016-22 KTM. MX and enduro is getting popular in China and as we have seen they are making some cool bikes. I was skeptical until I rode a Kove but my friend has one and no issues. USA motor toys that imports GPX moto and Kove is bringing in the latest JHL lineup.

With multiple Chinese bikes in the series, pride is going to push them to develop even faster so they can best each other.

Where ZX Moto, Kove, and JHL will be in 5 years time is going to shock some people.

Why can't they just copy Marty McFly's 85 Toyota 4wd and leave everything else alone? That's all we really need.

Check this out, USA startup making a bare bones $20,000 truck. 4cyl, 4wd, manual transmission. Trying to compete with the slate truck which is doing the same but electric.

If they can produce a high quality knock off for a fraction of the price who cares? Give 'em 5 years and I'm sure they'll improve quality and durability. And if they can do that for cheaper than the big mfgs, the consumer is the ultimate winner here and forces the big foreign manufactures to be more competitive w/ price, technology, and quality. Don't forget, Japan used to be the Chinese equivalent of production quality for all goods, now look at them.

Zx moto has been winning world supersport (the old 600 class) races this year.

import tariffs and egregious federal motor vehicle "safety" standards, makes it not profitable for selling imported pick ups in the US market.

A becon of hope though, have you seen REO trucks?

ZXmoto is killing it in world supersport (the category below world superbikes, used to be 600 and now it's mixed with 800).

Valentin Debise is currently 2nd in the world championship with 6 wins in 18 races. Last year on a Ducati he was 5th.

Edited to add a picture, just because

Not gonna lie the kove seafoam green color looks sweet, they just have an ugly ass shroud, but thatll change in time. Its funny when triumph came out we were all wondering what color itd be since “all the colors of the rainbow are taken”… didnt even think that you can just use a unique version of an existing color and itd work. They did end up making black look good with the neon yellow accents. I guess ducati technically uses a unique form of red with the dark red, but yea if you do what kove did theres a million colors to choose from. Also beta did a 2 color combo with red and blue so that adds a lot of options as well.

Anyways heres a vid of some test riding

As a past, present, and future Kawasaki owner, I approve this joke because it's true.

I would think the patent holders of the bikes that were knocked off might have an issue....a legal one....

The ZXmoto and Kove don't appear to be direct knock offs .
