Put Dylan Wright in the Open class and with Rempel on 250's, you've got a shot to make the A. I don't think you do if Wright is in MXGP division. Whoever is the third rider, their score is going to be thrown out anyway.

Wright is slotted to race Open. Racine was set to race MXGP.

I mean, we could always swing for the fence and put Rempel on a 450 and Malinoski on the 250.

Wishful thinking. Malinoski doesn't have the paperwork sorted.

Wright vs the Open class guys will generate a better finish than Wright vs MXGP class. MXGP is usually deeper. Only count 2 finishes for qualifying.

Taking a chance with Valin, how long has he been injured & is he even back on the bike?

Maybe I'm dreaming, but I think I read that Valin will skip the last 3 rounds of MXGP (MX2). He is not listed on the entry list of the Turkish GP.

Kay out for MxON

That’s two favourites (Lucas hurt for Belgium)

Seriously weakened, who is favourite now.

French Talent seems to have dried up from how it was 5 years ago .

With so many injuries of late, Spain are looking like the favourites.

I think USA actually has a shot at a podium. Toss up between Netherlands and Belgium for the win.

Never forget France, this year spain is very strong, belgium, netherlands. For the Epstein coalition a top 5 would be an achievement already. Rj running 4th in ama doesn't match the tempo of let's say Gaijser who is 4th in the MXGP

Without France I’d feel a lot more certain, but I do expect them to make it a challenge for us to podium.

Hot take but I would’ve picked him in the first place, he is an insane starter so that’ll be a big advantage around such a tight track

Selecting Zanchi over Lata seems a weird choice.

Lata is actually without a ride.

Kudos for being right 1 week ahead of official announcement.

Team Brazil Update.

Salvador Perez who was set to race MX2 will not be competing. It's expected that Guilherme Bresolin will take his place.

Looks like he competed under a different flag and didn't meet the deadline for the change.

Pérez is a Spaniard but has a Brazilian mother. He raced the Andalusian round in EMX250 under Spanish flag, so I guess that's according to the FIM-rulebook (as why Vlaanderen can't race for South Africa this year).

I think it's going to be interesting to see if it affects team Puerto Rico's rider selection. It should.

Maybe the difference that in the past guys like Pastrana, Windham, Chambers, Martin,... could race for Puerto Rico is because it's not a nation but a territory, just like Guam?

  1. Beaumer is born in America, so he's American. He has an American passport.
  2. He never raced under the French flag or for the FFM in his life.
  3. As explained multiple times, one can not race for two different federations/countries in the same season.
  4. Did you even consider that he might not be interested to race for France at all?
