umm im just throwing this out there..." rubbin's racing". granted that was a little bit more than a rub but still remember the days of ole' with Bradshaw, and lechien laracoo cleaning out kiedrowski at red bud etc etc i mean its old school all out racing! its what makes it rad i dont understand why people are pissing and moaning about some good back and forth aggressive racing? I mean it shows these guys are willing to go all out for the W and people are complaining about it? i find it in a way sad because a few years back people would be cheering now they are jeering.. granted im 17 and have only been racing for 13 years so i do not know much about this stuff but seems to me that id rather have my generation riding like the dehoop stanton bradshaw generation..

btw CEMX, I will never forget the day at Ponca City when Kyle Lewis cleaned me out....IN PRACTICE!

The previous year...when Ponca was THE most recognized amateur national before Loretta's hit it's stride...I won the 80cc Intermidiate class in convincing fashion ...with a 1-1-1...and was seen as a bit of a threat to the more experienced guys in the expert class the following year.

Kyle "taught me a lesson."

Bolttom line.

If you can't stand the rubbin'...get out of racin'..you lil' bitches.

In any form of racing that involves corners there's one understood rule. It doesn't matter how SLOW you go in to a corner. If you get to the exit first you control the corner. Reed got their first. End of story. He did James dirty to get there but he got there first.

Yeah, but none of that puff chested toughguy talk about "Good" take out moves and such changes the fact that Reed's desperate "Since I can't win by going faster" move was cheaper than an HIV positive hoar.

Once again, I apologize to any HIV positive hoars who may have been offended by the association.

I've made the same style of pass at a local race for 3rd place. And it wasn't even last lap. Should reed not want to win?

Well said. Like that move any anyone at that stage. Too bad that 22 got held up by lappers and that he didn't come out of the block pass w/out crashing. He had 7 covered and beat straight up. Terrible coverage by Speed at the end. None of us needed to see 2 luck into a victory and whip it over the finish! Had no idea Dungey got by and barely saw James and Reed battle the last 2 corners.

That was a BS move by Chad Reed. Didn't even make an attempt to corner.
thats why they cal it a BLOCK pass......you block then you turn!

Just when you start to hope for Reed to win and have his speed back, he shows that he's still a Twizzler Dick. Weak way to try to win. What? he couldn't get around the corner fast enough to be a threat?

Well, I guess Reed and Stewarts new found friendship didn't last long. I'm sure they are canceling the track days at each others places as we speak. Laughing

What will you never find?

Some one who says my 2 favorite riders are James Stewart and Chad Reed.

Reed has done it to Stewart several times before. It's not like anyone should be terribly surprised by it. Remember St Louis when he cleaned Stewart out and put them both on the ground? On the first lap no less. Bubbs should have known it was coming. The more I think about it, the more I lay it on Stewart for not expecting it given their recent history together.

That was exactly what a racer would do. Make the block pass to win. If you can't see that you are a dumba$$ or don't understand racing. Bubba was the idiot who ran into the side of Reedy.

Too bad Reed was awesome that night and deserved a win!

Nothing wrong with it, just an aggressive block pass. Stewarts pass on Reed was also pretty aggressive, banging him into the rider above him but nothing wrong with that either.

I was a bit surprised by Stewart's meltdown after the incident, giving up 2 positions on the last corner - could be expensive.

Dungey's pass around Reed and Stewart on the outside was awesome! Great race.

7 hawked 22 for 19 laps, made a few mistakes but simply passed that sore loser clean, a straight man move. Reed will get smoked from here on out by 7 because of this. Rubbin is racin but Villi didnt deserve 1st, and reed will get stuffed like a prostitute. Too bad james raced him with respect. Yet another year where chad will have NO title because theres other fast top dogs racing. Period!!!!
Really, RV2 didn't deserve the win? I always though the first to cross the finish line deserved the trophy, not how they do it where you're from?

I really can't believe some of you guys... Wait a second... Yes I can... Stewie left the door open... Reed went for it... Stewart would have done the same thing and if it was you and had a chance to win a "Pro Supercross" race... You would have done it also. All the great have done it through out the history of motocross.

Beside DV12 on here that post regular... How many of you have won a pro supercross race? You do what you have to do to win races. No room for pussies in the sport.

Watched the race last night...

Can't believe some people... Reed's pass on Stewart may have brought them both down but the contact was minimal, and Reedy left a choice for Stewart, get on the gas and crash or back off and race to the finish...

Stewart's pass hitting Reed into Regal had twice the impact and the only reason they didn't go down was Regal was there to bounce off...

Both were racing, get over it...

exactly...and note the roost on Reed's read wheel when he got his front wheel in front, we was obivously going to pivot the turn...the was an agressive block pass...no doubt but certainly nothing wrong with the idea ....to say Stewart didnt know he was there is rubbish to any racer out there, he would of not only seen him but heard him

in any case, thats racing!!!! If we all didnt want that type of racing then why bother wathcing it, just tell them where we want them placed and arrange it...let them race agressively please!!!

Stewart should have pulled the ghost rider move that Villopoto gave Jlaw a few years back. Reed parked the bike in front of him, that makes him a legal whoop or jump.

I think we need another two day VitalMX meltdown arguing over the validity of the pass at 1.08...
