Post Script: Best damn race I've ever. SX has reached nasscar levels of drama
Yup great "pass" by Reed, thats why they both crashed and he lost 2 points in the process! Brilliant!
Was for the win and anyone on this board would have done the same thing if at that level and in that situation.
I can't wait to go to Indy!!!
We need a party check here and right now
Risky but clean pass = Conservative
Take out move = Liberal
I vote for Risky but clean
Pit Row
Shite, just look at Stewart's right wrist. I doubt he can pin it any harder.
I will say that a still shot is a little deceiving. You need to factor in the speed a rider is going when you go for the block. I think Reed needed to cut it a little more inside in this instance. Give it a 60% responsibility to Reed, 40% to Bubba.
I can understand Reed going for it though in this particular situation. He had worked too hard, leading the majority of the race. And yes, James could have backed off. For a top rider he doesn't have much of a history of being able to switch it up in these situations. He pretty much leaves it pinned and damn the torpedoes. Maybe that's his strategy.
That being said. Great racing and I'm glad everyone is still healthy. More butts will be in the seats from here on out and more people tuning in on TV with the points race and the drama.
It's just amazing that he can be on the brakes totally locked up and still throw out roost at the same time.
OK, that was some unsubtle sarcasm.
