Its crazy that Tomac is making up most of that time on Baggett in pretty much one section of the the track (S3). On his 1:57 lap he was 3 seconds faster in that sector alone.

Taking a bit of a guess, but because its not necessary to straddle that airbox volume in that part of the bike anymore, they used a slimmer cantilever type subframe, and probably had more room to move the exhaust into that space a little bit. Added benefit ... more »

Musquin held off charges from Tomac in moto 1 and Roczen in moto 2 at High Point. As of right now, he's got the edge on those 2 in the fitness/mental toughness/efficient speed. But damn Roczen is the best by a mile the first 2-3 laps.

At the end of moto 2 he was the only guy in the 2:11s other than the Ryans. I always figured he'd be a better 450 rider... if Barcia can podium Dean can too lets just see him get a start
