I think I expected too much out of Dudney because of what DB said before the season. He is super young

I said back at High Point the PC guys needed to figure their shit out or Davies was gonna run away with it. Sucks for Kitchen, but it’s a story as old as time now.

Mate PC is truly cursed - Hammaker, Kitchen, Forkner Macadoo - so many great riders just never getting it done.

Classic Weege not being able to keep track of live timing and acting surprising when a rider suddenly catches another.

Remember how good Seth was to start the season? Such an afterthought now

Hymas makes the pass.  Really coming into form late in the season.

Hopefully Drew Adam's doesn't camp out in the 250 class. Hes way too heavy for that bike

After his season in Canada being an amateur i expected more of him. Maybe if he stays injury free...

Hymas on the lead!

Hymas was in 3rd 10sec back just a few laps ago. Nice bounce back ride.

Never understood the kitchen 450 hype either. He'll be a 6-10 guy at best, slotting in somewhere around Marchbanks and RJ. His 250 career has been like Savatgy's. He's good enough for a factory ride but he'll never compete with the top guys. He's already way older and more experienced than the guys he's battling

Hymas on the lead!

Between Canada and spanking everyone at LL, including some kid named Cole Davies, my expectations were so high for him. Look at his times he has speed. And also weighs 50lbs more than these other guys lol

I'll be honest, he looks like he quits or gets tired a lot. Especially when he's not in the top 5

He's going to be 26 in February.  Yikes

To be honest, you can't overly hate on Kitchen for being in the 250s too long. We've seen riders who are worse than Kitchen get great results after they moved up.

RJ, Marchbanks, now even Fineis can top 5 motos.

I think it shows, it's time for the older riders to retire and not have a mandate for a 250 title in order to get a factory ride.

This is why I didnt wanna see kitchen get handed this championship. It would have rewarded bad behavior. He has a lot of mental growth that needs to happen and its only going to happen through him doing the work. I understand some ppl saying he should just move up to 450, but I think he still has a lot of growing to do. He needs to learn how to manage a points lead and put it together toward the end of a season. Sexton got handed a few championships and it rewarded his bad behavior and he never fixed his deficiencies which have only been exposed more and more over time. I like levi and think he can do it, he just still has some growing to do.

RJ Hampshire 2.0. Obviously way different style wise but camping out on a 250 for his whole career. Shimoda too

Hampshire was able to eventually pull it together and get his 250 championship and he was in a much better position when he moved to 450 than he would have been if he had moved up when he was still captain crash-o. The same will happen to kitchen if he stays focused and fixes his deficiencies.

Cole is the future of the sport. SX, MX, technique,  starts, best whoops rider on Earth, cmon. American riders are fucked. After Jett, they get to deal with Cole. Lawrence clone

Impressive sophomore season from Davies.  Some bad luck kept him from really running away with this championship.
