Would you rather ride a 250f fast, or a 450 slow and smooth?

I always enjoyed riding slower bikes fast more so than fast bikes slow. Especially at 155lbs. Even when I dabbled with track days, the small bores were more fun.

Which do y'all prefer?

I think it would be a blast to race a KX112 Supermini in the Vet Novice class 😀

I have a 450 and feel way more in control smooth and flowing over banging gears and revving out a 250

That would be a blast!  I (as an adult normally racing A class) took my mom's KX85 out for C class practice once and laid waste to the 450 C riders.  It was a riot.  My son has a Lynks 112 Husqvarna and that bike is legitimately fast.  Its like full 125 power and 50 lbs lighter.

Well, I'd say Smooth and Fast, whatever the bloody capacity / type of bike you are on.

I can do Smooth - I've always worked on that.

Fast?, well, that's relative...........

350, can ride it both ways 👍

But I can't decide which way to go as my 2nd bike. 250f to help with the aggressive side or 450 to help with the smooth side. Might just have to have all 3.

I only own a 250 2 stroke these days.. feels like I’m bubba in 03 but in reality I’m slow AF..

I don’t really care how fast I am these days, and the fun level is unmatched!

Sounds a lot cooler riding the 250 fast

Slow is smooth, smooth is fast.

You do both. You're young and rip a 250f.. you get older and take less risk, go slower, but also get smoother and probably on a bigger bike you can lug. (insert 350)

I short shift my 450 and find it helps make me smoother, if I bang the rev limiter a lot I find it harder to control the bike more, weird but that's just how I feel

There’s actually being fast, and then there’s feeling fast. Riding a low horsepower bike WFO, throttle pinned, while dancing on the shifter, just feels more fun than gliding around the track in 3rd gear and never having to shift. Even though that’s likely way faster.
