Talk about a dawg, first moto when I checked the ticker maybe a couple of minutes in he was I think 18th. Made his way up to 5th and held 12 sec off Deegs. 2nd moto he was in the 20s worked his way up, fell and relapsed everyone. Call me crazy but I think if Marchbanks got a start he may be a problem. Obviously fitness and passing people is not an issue. Good for Tondell 2nd moto but I was hoping that was 36. He is scrappy and doesn’t tire out. If he can just get a start.

Dude need to figure out how to start.  He is honestly riding really well.  But damn, he is mid pack almost every start.  But his finish spot would probably be the same if he started first or 20th right now.

You think, I think he would have something for Deegs and or prado if he started with them. Either way he just needs starts to really prove himself

Marchbank’s doing great, but even if he starts better, he finishes in the same place. He’s a few seconds a lap off the front running pace and a starts not going to change that.

He is definitely the 5th best guy this year, but that jump to the top 4 is massive.

He’s as solid as a rock. I think he’s absolutely nailed the stability that Kawi needs right now, the amount of pressure seasons like his would be taking off the team right now is huge

Yeah I guess y’all are right. Either way I would be curious. If he catches a toe for say, 8-10 minutes that may break a mold. Not saying he can win but start to flirt with the 2nd group if he he got starts. Big IF I get it. I’m a fan of the “gritty” rides that no one really sees.

Marchbanks is one of the few in the 450 class overperforming.... most of the 450 class is burnt out and do not want to be there.....

Disagree. He has a better shot at learning the pace if he starts up there with them. Not many people can “pick up” the pace that much during a race with the current pack of leaders.

I expect he'll keep improving.  The fact is that he's able to come through the pack on 450s the way he came through the pack on 250s is huge!

He just needs starts and a little more speed.

I expect him to find it.
