So let's say Zach comes out here and top 10s these last 3. Dude got ripped off his best year of going. The dude is a damn American hero. I think we send him he is a good option and was always willing to step up. Loves America, has rode Ernee. I would love it.
No
Zach was/is my favorite rider. And I think it’s cool that he’s going to line up. But his back issues have slowed him down. I think it’s a stretch to see him run top 10. And he’s not beating a healthy JCoop.
Deegan - Cooper - Beaumer
Does Deagan even want to race?
Not unless he's paid. And there's a good chance the USA can win.
So no, he doesn't want to race. American 'patriot' my arse...

I'm just in the boat of I want 3 guys that want to go. This crap of having to pay and talk Deegan into it is ridiculous.
Who foots the bill for bikes etc to get to ernee? Do you expect riders to cover their own cost to represent their country?
Might as well send Villo and the Dunge too
The horror of having to pay someone to risk their career/life for a trophy and bragging rights.
You guys can't be serious.
Bad idea.
Where did he say he doesn't want to race? Link?
Or did you pull that outa your rear valve?
Tomac and JCoop with Deegs on the 250.
I’d rather the USA lose than have them win with that guy representing our nation.
You must be a Commie spy sent down here to infiltrate the Ku Klux Klan.
Stop the insanity !
Downvote if I’m wrong but I don’t remember there being this much of an excuse about who’s paying what and riders not going because of it until recent years. Outside of an occasional rider sitting out to train for Monster Cup, we just picked the best and the best went.
Hell, wasn’t it Tedesco that broke his foot just before the event in ‘08 or ‘09 and rode anyway? We used to get excited about it but now every time MXdN comes up it feels like a charity event.
Pit Row
100%. I don't think we ever heard a rider/camp say they didn't want to go due to financial reasons until maybe after covid it feels like? Maybe 2021 or somewhere in there. Feels like the years of villopoto/dungey even going back before them some riders would sit out due to nagging injury or not wanting to reinjury something but never money.
Zacho may end up a good choice.... cringe lord is basically the taliban when it comes to representing the USA, chase is hurt, et3 is now wtf-slow-mac, all kawi riders are off the table, etc etc... Zach might actually be one of the fastest we can send, and he might be a 20th place guy at best at des nations... good times... lmaooo
The teams foot the bill. I'm pretty sure in Donger's case the 'being paid' part is nothing to do with footing the bill. He want additional income over and above the costs of going.
What about Ricky Johnson an Jeff Ward too?
fuck....
