That's excellent that worked for you. For many people being in a better mood is a choice they don't realize they can make. They are so used to being unhappy and hateful, they just go about their day doing it. Religion does help a lot of people be better people. IN addition to that, people cn choose to be better people on their own, they just don't know it.

Absolutely! Believing in Jesus didn’t magically turn me into some Saint, it just made me realize that more often than not I was the cause of my own anguish. My stubbornness, pride, lack of empathy and downright hate for people who believed different than me made me angry and bitter. When someone else’s defeat defines your happiness, there is something fundamentally missing in your life. I do not mean to preach, but it’s relative to this threads topic.

So many in here would fit right in with our bunch of goofballs.
