250 B is on track and we see Weege talking to Mark Floreani the Founder and CEO of FloSports in the booth.

Back to on track action, still talking about FloSports.

If they really wanted to sell subs they'd bring back Moto Moms Mud Wrestling.

You talkin' something officially licensed, Clark? Or just the hair tugging that normally goes on? Didn't a PW rider get DQ'd last year because his mom and grandma got into it in the impound area?

This was def the case at Washougal. It was packed - the biggest crowd I've ever seen there - and there was no good place to watch from. Granted, even on an empty day there's no single place where you can see even half the track, but with the new 8-foot chain link everywhere that blocks your view, the fence lines being moved 10 feet farther away from the track, and the VIP sections taking the best spots, it may have been the last Washougal I go see in person. I usually move around a lot on race day, but that was a waste of time this year with all the impeded views.

One positive is that they eliminated all the VIP platforms that lined the whoop section a few years back and left that open to the GA fans. But the chain link, hay bales, and distance from the track made it less than optimal. Most people there were watching the huge screen they had mounted in the trees so they could see what was happening. Depressing as a spectator even given the awesome weather and fantastic track conditions.

I snuck into the Fly VIP tent (on the corner after the Chuck Sun jump) at the end of 450 moto 1 and frankly, the view there wasn't great either.

I agree, the VIP stuff is getting bad. If you don't buy the $300+ whatever dollar VIP experience you're left with peanuts. The hill at the ski jump was the best spot I could find this year for a decent view of the track. We did that for first motos then went to Joey's camp at the torco turn for the rest of the motos and pretty much bullshitted with people we don't see that much anymore. Then we went back to the motorhome and watched the replay so we could actually see what happened LOL. We actually had a good time though this year. Sebastian Toth got us on his pit crew ticket list so we were able to buy tickets that had full pit access. Got to bs with Hunter on press day. He and his mechanic came out from the tent to pet our Rotties. We made it on the broadcast for a nanosecond. It was pretty funny to see my dogs on the broadcast with Hunter petting them. What a genuinely cool guy and a dog lover to top it off. My wife is a big Hunter fan and it completely made her Washougal trip this year. Mine too honestly.

Those are some good-looking pups. Dogs rule. And I like Hunter even more after hearing your story. I'm rooting for him to bring home the title this year.

Speaking of Flo Sports, there’s a lot of people that are understandably upset that RacerTV.com is not streaming the races live and free like they have the last 15 years or so. But the move to Flo means that next year all of the American Motocross Majors will stream live—Oak Hill’s Spring-A-Ding, Mammoth Mountain, the Dirty 100 at Ponca City, Mini O’s, RCSX, and more—as well as all of the Loretta Lynn’s Regionals next summer. GNCC Racing has also made the move to Flo.

The deal also opens the door to some better production, added programming (like previews and post-race wrap-ups), and more comprehensive data across the board.

Yes, the move stings, especially after being able to watch it for free for so many years, but like Monster Energy AMA Supercross, Pro Motocross, the FIM Motocross World Championship (MXGP), and more, the move to a streaming service presents more opportunities to watch pretty much of the big amateur races, not just Loretta Lynn’s and Mini O’s. And after a week, all of the motos will be archived and available to watch for free on RacerTV.com and YouTube.

I don't believe the better production angle. GNCC is the only thing I'd watch out of all of it. For the last few years the stream...

I don't believe the better production angle. GNCC is the only thing I'd watch out of all of it. For the last few years the stream has been two lame camera angles in the woods and a drone shot where the riders look like ants (when you can see them through the trees). Why would I pay for that? The production was better 10-15 years ago....

Old GNCC Racer TV was so good....

Anyone familiar with the cost of broadcasting a live MX event?  Let’s forgo the CAPEX and focus on OPEX. 5-10 people over 5-7 days, lodging, food, insurance, transportation rental, etc. Low end is, what, $10K? Not a king’s ransom but not peanuts, either.

This issue isn’t charging, it’s the fee. Flo should produce a national-caliber product but not sure that’s what most LL viewers want.  Not sure what % of the $40 goes to MX Sports, but they apparently outsourced the event to Flo. In any case, 2026 is a trial with results TBD.

How many of those positions are filled from the Loretta’s “intern” program. Volunteer labor model.

Yep know some people going to “volunteer” to help their chances getting selected for qualifiers and regional races next year

Gee, wonder who that is.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Flo is interested in trying to get the smx deal whenever that’s up. They have a partnership with Fs1 to get the shit on tv too

Might be worth it to get the service if they did that.
