It's pretty crazy watching the retired vets beating these kids what does that say about our amateur system?

I see that Malinoski and Andrew Short DNF'd that Open Pro moto. Anyone know what happened?

easton graves supermini got docked 4 positions for track cutting. his second lap was 2-3 seconds faster than anyone else and almost 2 seconds faster than his second fastest lap of the race. demolished the field tho.

Wins by a month…cut track once and gained 2 seconds….4 positions??  Wow, just take him out back with the belt.  Seems harsh for demolishing the rest.

…but I would have loved to see the supermini parents on both sides after that…

FIL passed at 315am. Heavy morning and hard to be in the right frame of mind.

I managed a 27th after starting dead last. I was second gate from inside. Kelleher on my right, Browning on my left. Kelleher hit me so hard 10' out I hit willy and i shut down. Picked people off the whole moto though and the top 2 were the only ones to lap me. Hard to race in this frame of mind. Heading to Nashville to pick my wife up, so hopefully the week eases up on the beating and I can continue to have fun, cuz thats the only reason im here.. Had Nick from Tamer as an escort for my daughter to be my mechanic, which was very special.

Praying for your family. Hope you all are able to enjoy the rest of the week as much as you can and ride the next 2 motos for you FIL!

Yeah, hopefully he'll be fine for 250 Pro Sport in a few hours.

That a not so former factory rider can win if he gets a holeshot and all of the favorites either crash or get buried off the start because they're on 250's in the open class?

This kid Rips pulling tear offs & smacking the quick adjust clutch in the whoops. my sprint speed is in that zone but not quite, a few steps lower. In some parts but briefly for 2 laps.  If I make it that long before crashing .  Your pushing the bike beyond being  in control.  Very impressive every yr that 125 b/c can hold that pace with high intensity for 8 laps battling.

I like you but bro, no your sprint speed isn’t like this!!

Yeah ok but I didn’t say I was either.  But I am fast enough to die repeatedly in icu from riding . Looking at 1 yr b4 my 7 broken ribs heal strong enough on top of each other, to ride or ski, etc.  collapsed lung with a hole in it. 3 of 4 rotator cuffs tore , 1 is strained . I didn’t think I hit my head that hard , just a white flash. But my rt eye is messed up yet. From 6-27 crash. Left eye to neck was swelled out 3 inches , eye swelled shut.  Lung pumped my body full of bubbles eye to my knees. Day 2 my scrodum swelled up bigger than a grapefruit. Had to wait till day 3 for a special kind of catheter.  5 days in trauma 2 machines working my lung .  I had bubbles under my skin for 3 1/2 weeks or more.

Do you remember who won both of them in the 450 class? Hint: see above

Kade passed Zach early on and Zach passed him back and dropped him by 15 seconds. You saying Kade of Team Green Monster Energy Kawi isn't one of the favorites? Cade is the only rider with a faster lap than Zach the entire race. Only 3 riders in the 54s (including Zach), 4 riders in the 55s (including Phil and Jake), and the rest were nearly 2 sec off of Zach's times. And Jake's been retired for almost a decade!

Factory guys can’t get a 450 out there or know the 250 is better suited for the rest of the track besides the start?

I'm not saying Osborne's win was a fluke, he's still fit and fast as hell and I wouldn't be surprised at all if he wins. I'll probably wait to see how the week shakes out though before calling it an indictment on our amateur system. There are guys like Malinoski, Wood and Gibson that were buried on the start and will probably pose a greater challenge than Johnson who was 7th in the 250 pro sport moto.

It has been a long time since the top guys raced 450's in the open class at amateur races. They usually compete just fine with the other amateurs but when a guy like Zach Osborne shows up on a pro 450 they are at a big disadvantage. Someone said Johnson may have been on a 450 in that race which wouldn't surprise me, he's a big boy.

You've been a member here since 2017, did you black out everything that happened during 2020?
