I'm in. Signed up and cancelled the same day. Good til the end of August. I've spent $40 on a lot dumber shit than watching loretta's.

I tried to do something similar the year that Flo carried the outdoor races. They never cancelled & were impossible to reach for assistance.

I don’t think it’s been mentioned yet, but I’m pretty sure there was a class action lawsuit against Flo for not canceling subscriptions when requested.

I even got a settlement check from the lawsuit.  No way they’ll dupe me again…

You could have bought 1/2 of a new jersey with that money!

I heard Flo is offering a free Justin Brayton signed jersey with each subscription, delivered next May.

Little trick. Signing up for flocollege.com is cheaper. 20 a month or 109 a year. The sign in also works with flo racing. I tested it yesterday.

Yeah, that’s a… questionable strategy. Is that an official Racer X thing or is it just a Weege thing, if that’s even possible.

How deep will the discounts go before LL’s is over?

Amazing find. I just searched for this and it shows LLMX is on Amazon and also YouTube with it's free FloRacing 24/7 channels. It's just not clear if it's the full day stream or if it's a highlight of the day at the time listed which wouldn't be ideal.

If they're charging money to watch, I hope they improve the broadcast. Was there any mention as to how the broadcast is going to be better for the money?

All these years, I was locked in watching LLs on RacerTV because I work in front of screens. Not this year.

No, they did not mention any improvements being planned, no increased infrastructure or anything.

Be funny to hear if it’s the same broadcast with dead air between interviews, races and dumb inside jokes. Don’t really see a good way to stream multiple full race days with a “real” crew so assuming it will be similar to the fee show from years past

It will probably have the same sponsors as well. I wouldnt expect a single thing to change except less people chatting

Maybe the same idiot that pays for 3K for ECU, Pipe, bars, triple clamps, and revalve as a C class Vet?  That's a lot of streaming

This post and charging for watching LL accomplish the same thing. Alienate the customer base that fuels the sport.

Haha.  Alienate the customer that wants a 12 hour daily broadcast for free just because it has been free in the past.  Unreal bro.

Anyone familiar with the cost of broadcasting a live MX event?  Let’s forgo the CAPEX and focus on OPEX. 5-10 people over 5-7 days, lodging, food, insurance, transportation rental, etc. Low end is, what, $10K? Not a king’s ransom but not peanuts, either.

This issue isn’t charging, it’s the fee. Flo should produce a national-caliber product but not sure that’s what most LL viewers want.  Not sure what % of the $40 goes to MX Sports, but they apparently outsourced the event to Flo. In any case, 2026 is a trial with results TBD.

They weren't losing money on LL's week, but saw another way to increase their profit and took it at the expense of their core fans. It's a money grab, period.

Please if you think for one second this decision doesn't have Cotter and Coombs dick beater prints all over it your delusional.

So what if it does?  If they earn revenue from it that is a good thing.

They were bringing in revenue by selling it to sponsors previous years. Clearly they felt they could make more by selling it to Flo, and made the choice to prioritize more revenue for them knowing the cost would get passed on to the family members wanting to stay updated on their loved ones racing and fans wanting to watch the up-and-coming racers.

They already have so many revenue streams from this race, can't help but feel it was a greedy decision.

Because they already make enough on this week of racing. They're just going to run people off.
