I’ll just leave Wardy and Jonny O’ on your door step to tell them they were not elite athletes. You’re a fool, sure the 90s were wild but to say the mid 2010s - the 80s top guys were not training is retarted.
Yeah, all he had to do was back it down until he got on the track. Hard to believe he did that because he certainly should know better from all the recent penalties on everyone else.
Deegan certainly looks like the fastest guy on the track. Hopping over bumps like, riding any line he wants, just like Jett. Just 10,000 RPMs higher.

Smoking a rookie is nothing to brag about.
Now you resort to this? Pathetic man, give it a break
Sarcasm too quick for your brain?
You Jett vs Deegan guys make these threads insufferable.
There is no battle, there is no rivalry, there’s racing, enjoy it!
Jett should have let Deegan by when he went off the track and then just passed him back. No penalty then, plus making a point. But Jett seemed concerned about not letting Deegan pass him there.
As others have said, the point of a one-position penalty is that there should be consequences for making a mistake and going off the track. Pretty simple and proper.
Lawrence’s too quick for your boy?
Too quick for a rookie. Yes. Captain obvious.
You havent factored in Davies
I think the only 3 guys that have KTM Chase covered are Jett, Hunter, and Chase.
Your leaving out Shimoda.
I think he his wasting his talent in the small bore class.
He is a top 5 threat.
Chase needs to prove different

Pit Row
I would hope Sexton would be faster than Deegan. 2026 is Sextons 7th 450 MX season.
Definitely in agreement he should’ve been penalized per the rules, but as far as him slowing down, letting HD get by then going again, that all happened in a matter of seconds. My thought process would’ve been the same as Jett’s probably was in the moment, “shit I almost just ate it, my brother is getting away, and here comes ankle biter, I gotta go”
So now we've been to the Lawrence's worst track, which is Deegan's best track, can we finally put the Jett/Deegan non-rivalry to bed?
Congrats to Hunter on another win, I'm starting to get on board with the idea that he has this championship covered. Seems like Jett still isn't able to walk the razor thin tightrope that he usually dances across, so I can't see him staying upright trying to hold the pace needed to beat Hunter. If Hunter wasn't in it, I think we wouldn't see Jett crash so much because he would back it down. But Hunter is in it, so I think Hunter's going to go the distance.
I had to watch the race with the sound muted. Deegan’s constant reviving the fornicate out of the engine is nails on a chalkboard. For the love of deity please cease that feces! And I like the kid!
Jett's logic behind how he re-entered the track sort of makes sense to me but at the same time I'm not exactly shocked that he received a penalty for it.
Like a lot of the AMA rules, "No acceleration" ultimately comes down to the perspective of someone reviewing footage, and in the court of subjectivity there's no ability to read minds in order to understand intent. I think with poorly defined rules like this it eventually becomes a game of theater where it matters less how safe the off-track/re-entry is and moreso how it appears. Take a hand off and shake it out, stand up and change your posture to a less aggressive one, really milk the "I'm looking for a safe spot to re-enter", etc.
Ultimately rules like this without clearly defined parameters create the appearance of safety rather than actual risk reduction, and I wish the AMA would review some of their rule & enforcement. Penalizing Jett yesterday or Haiden back in SX (that bs split lane thing) does jack shit to actually make things safer or more fair and honestly just detracts from the race. I don't care if it's Haiden, Jett, or fuckin Vince Friese.. I want guys to receive the position they earned and only get penalized if they cheated or were legitimately unsafe.
Maybe I missed it in the 23 pages of Jett vs Deegs BS, but in my 12 years of going to Washougal that's the biggest crowd I've seen there. Every hillside was packed. They were at least 30 short on porta johns - lines there were ridiculous. Getting in and out must have been fun for those in cars. I rode my DL800 up and went around the jam each way - saved me at least 2 hours each time.
There were a lot of Deegan fans there. Many have clearly never sat on a motocross bike.
Track held up great with the beautiful weather. I wish we got whoops that even and level to ride there. Every time I ride them they are peaky and chewed up and very difficult for a squid like me. But it sure was narrow in places that used to be much wider. The "triple" before the wall jump was tamed way down to a table.
Washougal had the most consistent top tens in both classes combined in terms of moto finishes in history.
The average difference between moto finishes in both top tens combined was 1.05 positions, the smallest ever.
Eight riders had the same moto scores and eight other riders had just a one position difference in moto scores. That would have been ten if not for Jett's penalty.
There is an awful lot of money being spent , on guys that are only in with a chance until the gate drops.
Unless there is a massive change, where 250 guys are made to move up, and younger riders are given a chance , AMA is going to be in big trouble. I think it already is, aside of Deegan, who is going to beat the Lawrences and Coenens, in the next few seasons.
Tomac is aging out, AP is on the wane, Mookie is ready to slide away, RJ is RJ and isnt going to be more than he is, Barcia is aging out , Webb is aging out, Marchbanks has shown what an 'average' 250 Team guy can do on a 450, so why arent these older guys getting moved out ?
Anybody know what manufacturer and year bike two stroke Stienke qualified on? Just curious?
I never understand this thought, but that’s why we all have different thoughts. I always look at this style comment as you are in your position at work and have been for 10 years, but you should attempt the next higher position because you should give the guy below you a chance at it. It sounds like a participation trophy to me. If the younger guy wants it go take it now.
this year it was a Husky 450.....probably a 2025 model since they didn't import any 26's
Busiest I’ve ever seen it. And maybe the best Washougal track conditions I’ve ever seen.
