Taking a trip to Montreal to see Iron Maiden with Megadeth and Anthrax September 3rd. I’ve never been to Montreal but my kids have been there a few times with their mother and they loved it (but they can speak French). It’s at an outdoor site that I’ve been told is very nice, and holds about 65,000.
We’re really excited about this show! Saw Megadeth and Anthrax a few months ago and this will likely be my last chance to see Megadeth, assuming Dave is serious about retiring. We last saw Iron Maiden in 2023 in Edmonton and my wife was pissed that they didn’t play Run to the Hills ( she’d never seen Maiden before). I enjoyed that show but frankly I don’t go to an Iron Maiden concert to hear songs from their latest album. This time, the set list looks fantastic! They’ve been playing Phantom of the Opera, which in my estimation is one of the best metal songs ever recorded!
