I think he knew exactly how fast they were, I also think he under estimated what the jump would be like from 250 to 450 .

Jett and Hunter have Deegan clocked. They can run his pace for the full moto, they're just cerebral with it. If #38 slows even a little, or has a bad lap, makes a mistake, etc. they pounce, put on a couple of heater laps to break any latching on, and either maintain a manageable gap or pull away.
We aren’t watching James Stewart here- the Lawrence boys know full well they only need to beat him by one second.
Why would they risk upping the pace if he’s still 5-10 seconds behind?
How much more do you think they have in the tank if other riders latch on?

Remember Redbud last year? Ironman? MXDN in France when Jett fell in the 3rd turn? MXDN in England where he took the bad gate pick, went through most of the field lapping a couple of seconds faster than anyone on the track and closed in a 18 second gap on Gajser?.
There is a few times that Jett put on display what he can actually do when he is healthy. And the riding he does now on more or less one leg is also out of this world..
Or do you think that any rider on the gate would be battling for wins in the same situation? Heck, the other guys struggle to beat them while they are healthy right now..

Are the Lawrence’s expected to not get any better? Have either one reached their ceiling? I keep hearing this is a learning year for Deegan and wait until next year. Hunter is faster this year and Jett is just as fast as Hunter while recovering from an injury. I guess the competition can hope they don’t gel with the 2027 Honda.

They've both reached the point of speed where they are starting to make mistakes and crash,they are definitely past the point of comfort to stay in front of deegan and prado.

No doubt jett is a generational talent, the fact the guy in third is making up as much as ground as he is every week is nothing short of amazing. He's got the guys in first and second making mistakes and crashing just trying to keep their lead over the field.

Hey Brian, did you watch the second moto? Jett sat behind Donger for a few minutes and when he needed to go passed him so quickly and with so much authority it was breathtaking. Go back and watch the race if you need reminding.

You're on some strong PCP man. Jett Lawrence is hindered by a major injury which is impacting his ability to ride how he likes. Donger has got nothing to do with his crashes. All you Donger Throaters have fallen for this bullshit that Deegan is on the same level as the Lawrences. Therefore, you believe Donger has something to do with any mistakes they make. He doesn't. They don't believe he's near their level - because he's not. Which should be obvious by the evidence right in front of you - the races.
