Just saw the headline. He was 71, which doesn’t sound as old as it used to.

Just another career politician that sold out to enrich himself.

Is his most notable accomplishment that he impeached a guy for lying about a blowjob?

I may not have agreed with many of Graham’s positions or actions, but credit where credit is due. He raised his younger sister after his parents died fairly close together. His Air Force service after 1995 (until 2015 when he was mandatory retired) was unpaid because he couldn’t receive a military paycheck as a Senator or Congressperson.  He served his constituents well enough that they kept sending him to represent them for over 30 years.

I think that he was a complicated person. I wasn’t a big supporter, but he definitely had plenty of them. He was definitely influential in our country’s political history over the past 3 decades.

I agree with this.

Mitch McConnell manage to outlive Lindsey Graham. Didn’t think I’d see that.

Speaking of Mitch, its really odd or sad that supposedly Mitch's team put out a proof of life photo and statement with Mitch's hand on today's paper and not even a mention of Lindsey's passing. Sure, Jan.

Aortic dissection. Can't fake or do anything to cause one acutely, and pretty obvious on autopsy, so unless the medical examiner is in on it that should put the conspiracy theories to rest.

Also a pretty miserable way to go. Fairly painful then likely dissected through coronary arteries and have classic heart attack and die.....

If you truly believe that the president lying (provable) under oath is a nothing deal, I can’t help you.

The Clintons, regardless of party affiliation, were/are/will always be scum on numerous levels. Do yourself the service of reading the book “Unlimited Access” (written by an FBI Agent assigned to the White House during the end of President Bush (Sr’s) second term and the Clinton’s’ first) and report back.

Bill should have been removed from office in addition to the impeachment, and the worst part is the Monica incident paled in comparison to some of his antics (and those of his miserable C… wife).

You leave out the fact that Slick Willy was actually impeached for lying to congress under oath.

Iran is claiming they are responsible for his death.   I think it's more for show, to try and make it seem like they are getting revenge on the US for the people of Iran.  To keep the people of Iran supporting their current leaders.

Seems like when Rusia kills somebody they do it in a way that is obviously them, but deny it.

It is strange that it happened so suddenly. But I don't know how uncommon that may be. I know 2 people that are having some heart related issues recently that came on suddenly  and seemingly out of nowhere.  One of them drove themselves to the hospital and had 3 heart attacks on the drive there. He  had a triple bypass over the weekend and is doing well , still in the hospital.  The other , is still in the hospital too and last I spoke to him he wasn't sure what the plan was yet.

So maybe its normal and just the timing makes it looks like something else.

I wasn't a big fan of Graham's but also wasn't really a hater of him either.  Sometimes it felt like he may be one of the more sensible politicians that are around Trump.  I had the feeling that he may not be openly critical of Trump in public. But able to call him on any BS  while in a one one setting. I could be totally off base on that. The way he went from being vocally  against Trump  , to a strong supporter made me wonder if it was a case of keeping your friends close, and enemies closer type of thing. Maybe it was another reason. But he seemed to change after McCain's passing.

Either way it's sad to see somebody go in what I've heard can be a very uncomfortable way. And I feel for his family , and wish them well.

Adopting his 13 year old sister after their parents both passed was honorable. Word is she will be his preplacement.

He was my congressman but I never voted for him because he flip flopped like a fish in a boat.
