I guess crime does not pay too well for some. In Biden's last year in office,  he reported 650 thousand dollars in earnings. That was 2024

In 2025, Trump's first year, he  earned 2.2 billion dollars. A lot of it in crypto. BTW, Trump pardoned the founder of the largest crypto company in the world last October.

Meh. Nothing here to see, but the Bidens are a crime family.

A successful private sector family versus a “public service career” family that’s made millions doing the inexplicable.

About Biden History that appears to have been forgotten…The Son & The Brother have had some AMAZING gigs during and accompanying Joe’s “Political Career”. Executive Officer at a Ukrainian Energy Conglomerate …run by the very kind of people the New Left Commies rail against…Autocracy? Anyone? Bueller? Anyone?

Care to buy some onetime “worth millions” art by an addict that’s now…worth…what? 😎

But, hey, why let actualities affect your view?

No worries. You go your way, I’ll go mine. 🤣

I guess you missed the part where Biden couldn't legally claim the kickbacks from Burisma Holdings where he got his son a job he was unqualified for - and went on record bragging for having the Prosecutor fired for investigating money laundering within Burisma Holdings tied back to U.S. taxpayers. But hey, we get it - orange man, whatever. You get the catalytic converter swapped out on that Tundra?

yeah and that crooked fuck Fauci got a pardon from 2014 through the end of the Biden Crime Family run. still hope he fries but we all know he won't.

federal, state, dems, repubs, liberals, they're all fucked and do NOT have our best interests in mind.

pick any dipshit from either side and they are all getting rich off of a "small" income.

it's fucked.

Private sector family? Has your face straightened back out after that one? Of course all private sector families have the power to pardon crypto crooks they're doing business with. But of course Trump didn't know him or know anything about crypto or even that his sons were bigley into it.

BTW, Trump earned 650 million the year before he took office. Quite a jump for a "private sector family".

Oof, the delusion is at such a gnarly level. People are completely unable to do "and" these days...

Somali daycare boss Fahima Mahamud just pleaded guilty to ripping off millions meant for kids in Tim Walz’s Minnesota!!

She ran Future Leaders Early Learning in Minneapolis and collected the most Child Care Assistance Program cash in the entire state last year. $3.7 million.

Over four years her center hauled in $10.2 million total.

Prosecutors say $4.6 million of the CCAP money came from 13,000-plus fake claims where she lied about collecting co-payments from parents.

On top of that she stole another $854,000 through the Feeding Our Future meal scam by claiming to feed thousands of kids who never showed up.

When the heat turned up after a viral exposé she closed the place and booked a flight out of the country. Feds grabbed her at the airport.

Now she’s admitted it in court.

This is what happens when open borders and zero oversight turn child care money into a personal ATM for fraudsters.

Taxpayers got fleeced while actual kids got nothing. Claw every dollar back and ship her out. No more free rides.

Demand full restitution and removal for every one of these cases.

The whole system is rigged. When’s the last time a third party or someone in middle class allowed to debate?  Ross perot was third party but a billionaire.

What does any of this have to do with addressing the posted fact that a sitting president made 2.2 billion dollars in the first year of his second term when he has never made that much money in any other year, ever? Oh yeah, it's deflection, that's what it is. Keep up the great job fellas!

I fail to see how saying the other guy is corrupt makes anybody else less corrupt.

When I see that I think to myself they really mean, yup they are all screwing us, but I like being screwed by my guy better.

My sister didn't know how many millions there are in a billion. 1000 million makes a billion.    If somebody making $2M off the office is bad,  is it 1000 times worse when somebody makes $2B ?

It's just more back and forth and division . keeping people from talking about the things they agree on and getting together on a candidate that really would go in and do what Trump claimed he was going to do as far as limiting waste and fraud.  As long as the majority keeps being distracted by shiny objects we are doomed to keep repeating this disaster of politicians being in office to make money instead of help the country run smooth. And use division to drive donations and  votes while they all laugh all the way to the bank.

We all agree on much more than we disagree on here. It's clear in other threads when people allow themselves to put this political BS aside.  And I really think that is how the majority of people are in this country. It's only the far ends of each side that you find radical ones. But most people are much more aligned than they even realize.  Wanting the same or similar things, just maybe done differently. But everybody is always focused on the parts they disagree on instead and here we are.

The incomparable whataboutism in this thread tells you everything.

You guys know. You're just too proud to admit it to yourselves.

Wondered how long before another TDS thread was started for the usual sufferers.

Labeling as a biden thread is a very nice touch.

Enjoy.

Joey, the TDS thing is at least 10 years old. You need to up your deflection game.

What’s particularly funny to me is the partisan finger pointing.

99.7% of politicians are corrupt. We are just dumb enough, to think “only the other guys do that”. The Left Wing and the Right Wing are both attached to the same vermin infested bird.

Democrats

Nancy Pelosi (CA, House since 1987):
Entered office: ~$610k–$785k in stocks (1987 disclosures).
Now: Estimates around $250–$280 million (heavily from spousal real estate/investments and portfolio growth).

Mitch McConnell (KY, Senate since 1985; note: Republican, included for balance):
Early career: Lower millions (e.g., $3M in mid-2000s).
Now: Estimates **$30–70 million** (boosted significantly by spousal family inheritance in 2007–2008, plus investments).

Chuck Schumer (NY, House 1981–1999, Senate since 1999):
Generally entered with modest wealth; grew through career. Recent estimates in the low millions (e.g., ~$2M+ range in some analyses).

Bernie Sanders (VT, House 1991–2007, Senate since 2007):
Entered with relatively low net worth; has grown via book deals/speaking post-2016 prominence. Recent estimates in the low-to-mid millions.

Joe Biden (Senate 1973–2009, VP 2009–2017, President 2021–2025):
Before presidency (around 2020): ~$8–9 million (mostly real estate).
Post-presidency/now: ~$10 million (growth from properties, prior book/speaking deals).

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY, House since 2019):
Entered: Very low/negative net worth (student debt, modest assets; ~-$8k estimated in early disclosures).
Now: ~$49k (remains one of the lower-net-worth members; lives primarily on salary).

Republicans

  Mitch McConnell (see above).

Lindsey Graham (SC, House 1995–2003, Senate since 2003; deceased 2026):
Modest finances throughout; recent estimates ~$1.4 million (praised in some circles for relative restraint compared to peers).

Rand Paul (KY, Senate since 2011):
Entered (physician background): Hundreds of thousands to low millions.
Now: ~$0.65M–$2.4M range (mid-tier; includes medical practice income, book).

Chuck Grassley (IA, House 1975–1981, Senate since 1981):
Long career; net worth grew over decades (family farm, investments). 2018 estimate ~$7.5M; has fluctuated in multimillion range.

Others for context (wealthier entrants, common among many): Many like Mitt Romney, Michael McCaul, or Darrell Issa entered with high net worth from business (tens to hundreds of millions) and saw varying changes. Rick Scott (FL Senate) entered politics with substantial business wealth from healthcare (~hundreds of millions).
