He was limping HARD off the podium after his interview. I wonder what that gap would be if he was 100%. 30 seconds? 40 maybe?
Actually riding with an injury can make u faster riding around it so prob Prado would win
Probably 10 seconds because it's Jett. Just as an example: He and Chase gapped 3rd by over a minute and more in 2023. Once Chase was out, he was winning with 10-15 seconds over 2nd. He was never someone to make a statement by building a gap like that. He only pushes when he has to and when someone gets close. I think that should be pretty obvious by now, no? There is no need to constantly ride at 100% when you can win riding at 95%.
The gap would be the same. Possibly smaller because he would be confident he could lift his pace if necessary.
Jett doesn’t care about winning big, you don’t get more points for winning by 30 seconds.
True. But still, I think he would’ve built a 10 second gap today without much effort.

To be fair, Jett’s crash in the first moto had nothing to do with his ankle, so Hunter still wins that one. Second moto was Hunter’s mistake. So no injury = same result.
It’s an interesting question. I think he’s still learning how to ride with this restriction.
The bigger question - is this just how he will have to ride the rest of his career?
¿Qué te importa?
he would be up about 20+ points.....
His leg if fine or he would be able to ride a cycle!!!!!!!!!!
wouldn't
He'd be long gone.
What if I didn’t have a leg? This thread is deep.
your aunt would be your uncle...
Would you prefer to discuss philosophy on a moto thread? Or maybe quantum mechanics?
How true, his LEG has been just fine this year on the cycle!!!!!!!!!!!
How many jetlegs can the jetleghumpers hump?
If he didn't have a bum leg than he'd be able to win still with a 20th place start and would only lose in very strange circumstances. He'd still do enough to win by 3 seconds though

If he was at a 100%, he would be riding at 40% and would lap everyone twice. Right now he’s riding at about 60-70% and choosing to keep it interesting - let Hunter have a moto here and there; let Coenen have a lil success; and make sure he’s in front of Deegan. Beyond that, he’s just cruising.
Well no, I was just making fun of your topic. ‘What if’ is like telling people the dream you had.
”Yo what if Stew never aged and was still racing 125’s and the AMA never allowed four strokes?”
^^^what if Godzilla was still a little bitty lizard?
What if my dad came back from getting cigarettes?
Nelson Muntz, is that you?
If my grandmother had wheels, she would have been a CR500.
So she had an explosive bottom end and a severe case of the shakes.
I've been there before too. It happens.
It’s obviously a setback that he’s working to overcome and doing a better job of it than any other rider in the series could probably do. As much as I like watching good racing and have wanted KR94 to win a SX title since 2017, that doesn’t happen with a healthy Jett nor would the outdoor points be this close after 6 rounds.
