Not that I need the money but some side hustle to support my dirt bike habit would please my wife. Seems like selling air horns and chainsaws without a bar and chain at national races would be a good gig. Buy chainsaws from Alibaba, marketplace or temu. Set up a stand pit side the track and flip for a decent profit !!!!
Even have per mix on hand to sell too!!!
Sorry, DC has that covered at the races - sells both along with canned fuel to top off the saws. I don't see him sharing any of that pie.
Yes! I’ve got an even BETTER idea! Wow, I’m legit excited. We should partner and create a joint venture! I recently created a goal post moving business. Do you want to merge your business with mine? Maybe we could even try attaching the chainsaws and air (error?) horns to the goalposts as we move them!
you would probably make as much selling the bars, chains, and mufflers you strip off to make them moto ready.
I’m pretty sure some old near drunk MX guy posted this!

You do that, and I will set up a stand selling brass knuckles so people can knock out the guys buying the saws. We both profit!
Don't forget to add mega phones to your stall. Will help the rednecks screaming red bud all day get their point across.
I was going to suggest bb guns, but eh, six of one, half dozen of the other…
Oh...i said it in another thread...
If Mxsports won't let you bring in beer because they want to sell you Lucky Lager behind a chain link fence with 50 of your drunkest friends for 30 times what you would pay for it at a grocery store!!!!!....why not make money off airhorns too?
If Mxsports is fine with making money off getting people drunk...why not make money selling to assholes who think airhorns are cool?
They were selling air horns at Pala for 60 bucks I think ? The kids near us must've been rich
Personally I think chain saws and air horns should be banned during the interviews. It is so annoying not being able to hear the interviews because of some drunk rude a**hole that has no respect for others.
What about the smoke bombs at the GPs 🤣
Same thing.
Another guy needs to start a chainsaw modifying shop so the vet riders can make sure theirs is ported, polished, with kashima coating on.. something.
The saws used at the track should at least have a tuned pipe
Who's going to be the first guy to post a chainsaw in a "spoke with my wallet" thread
Or which chainsaw is most reliable. Along with which chainsaw will run the longest on one tank of gas!
I don't really hate the horns so long as they keep it reasonable. Previous weeks this year have been just okay with the horns.
The clapped out chainsaw on it's last legs right next to some field microphone was extremely annoying even on tv. It was pretty funny when it was going during the race recaps and such though. Just kind of absurd at that point.
Pit Row
Many saw shops already offer porting and plethora of mods like exhaust, anodized billet clutch covers, upgraded felling dogs, etc... There is people out there that make their livelihood's running saws everyday, lots of those guys aren't running stock saws, they take pride in their tools like we do with our bikes, pretty cool if you ask me.
WTF. How would know about Lucky Lager….thats a Vancouver isl thing.never see it any place else, so you peaked my interest.I hope you didn’t drink/buy any to,take home as it really is swille beer.the worst ever.
PS.
I’ve got the Milwaukee M-18 edition to the train horn with 2 65. Ha batteries
A stihl 023 saw with a modified KTM 250 sx exhaust pipe mounted to it
In 1988-89 a 24 count box of 11 oz. Lucky Lagers was $4.54. Split that cost with a buddy and it's time to party. If girls were to be involved in the evenings activities then you best make sure to include a box of Bud Light bottles which really cut into the budget.
It was always a conundrum if you found a cute girl who would drink LL's...is she the most grounded chick ever? Or...what's wrong with her that I'm just not seeing?
Do they even brew LL's anymore. i honestly can't remember drinking any past the early 90's
