It’s already been established that flipping off comes with a penalty…do we see one from qualifying? I wouldn’t be shocked if they took his fast lap away.

Edit to add: Prado got one license point at SLC. They won’t take away his fast lap. If ANYTHING happens it would just be a license point.

Haiden - Jett

Jett was half a second behind. I don't think he would have beat Haiden's time.

But

Deegan taking the line on purpose is definitly Haiden's type of riding. Jett's reaction is not gonna help, but we will count the points at the end of the day. If Haiden can hang the whole moto with Jett when the tracks is slower, he will earn his day. If not, that moment was just a "if you can't beat him, make him think about you and try to scare him".

So far, Haiden is fast at the begining of the day. But it is still 6-0 for Jett and 30+ points in 3 rounds while injured.

Regardless of where you stand we should be thankful.

Because if it was just Jett and Hunter we know how thats going to play out. Hunter will never make the kind of move to push Jett out of the way. Take that move Hunter put on Deegan moto 2 last week. Hunter would have NEVER done that to Jett.

Otherwise, without Haiden we would have nothing to watch. Chase is out, Cooper is hurt, Kenny isnt here, Prado aint got it, Eli also hurt and on the tail end. Outside of Haiden we have to wait on the MXGP brother to come over.

The 450 race would be searching for 3-10th to find a good "story".

Nobody here would deny that Deegan isn't making the class more exciting. I personally love everything that is happening right now. The 450 class is gonna be totally nuts once we have both Coenens and Davies there aswell.

Jett clearly doesn’t care about the first qualifying sesh. Comes out in the second and smokes deegs by 2 seconds.

He cares enough to flip him off. Not that I care. I thought it was funny, but he is lucky they like him and wont do anything about it.

Though they should just to make it even MORE interesting lol.

Mosiman in the 250's, maybe?

But is Deegan really "in his head" if Jett's over two seconds faster, still?

When you take time to chirp, roost, and flip someone off just in qualifying alone I'd say you are thinking about said person. Regardless of how much faster you are...

Deegan needs to beat Jett and Hunter straight up...and if he does, he'll know he belongs at the top. And if he can do this...the kid will be frigging unstoppable. It may not happen this season, but when it does, the kid will be lights out.

But he hasn't and can't

Deegan makes it more exciting in the same way the trailer park boys is exciting. I come for the racing, not the drama

Well, when you slowly place yourself in the racing line in front of someone on a heater, of course that person's going to be thinking about you. It's just that most people have the etiquette to move.

I said he's not "in his head". If he was in his head, he would be making mistakes and ending up off the pace. But he was over two seconds quicker.

Then you moved from "in his head" to "thinking about him". Yeah man, if someone was in front of you going 35 in a 55, you'll be thinking of that person too.

Want some help moving these goalposts? lol

Oh yes... I remember right before cringe lord turned pro saying the word deegan means drama... not winning, not class, not integrity,  just drama... lolll.... but ya... I'm already burnt out on his bullchit... he's like that meme of the girl in a swimsuit doing a cartwheel that has the caption "attention whore"...
