People buy racing scooter for many reasons, brand, reliability, price, vibe/cool, looks, even color and more.
The two racing scooters I think will make a splash for this fall,
KX327 and new 4 stroke Beta RX. They both have a lot of the stuff that triggers sales. New, lots of new cool and the right colors.
People are going to flip out over the new two stroke KX. I predict they will sell way over MSRP first rattle out of the box.
Beta, new design and popular well liked color. I don’t care if it’s a SxS, ATV dirt bike or boat, red and black typically sells. I’m not going to say the 450 RX was a flop but I’d bet Beta learned a lot from rolling out the 450 RX. I bet they have the mapping and flywheel weight spot on for the new 4 stroke 250 RX. I predict it will be a good scooter and will sell. My 24 300 RX is a solid ride, Beta can make a good scooter.
Any other big splash for 2027, comment please.
I remember reading the new 250 RXF comes with a "second" injector stock. That's interesting.
If my memory serves me correctly Kawi has done the same on their 250 for some time
I forgot about the second injector!
The new Ducati 250 checks the A class rider rev to hell and back box. But a lot of dirts bike sales are Vet riders not looking for 15k RPM. I think price and even though Ducati is a name it’s kinda boutique ish. Along with high dollar service and parts. I don’t think Ducati’s will jump off the showroom floor.
2012 if I remember correctly

My kid has a 25 Beta 450RX, nice bike, but it can’t be taken seriously until there’s an idle adjustment screw.
And Suzuki.
KX-327, for obvious reasons.
The other bike I think will go well is the CRF450R. There’s seemingly a lot of refinement to that bike.
Anything simpler, and anything 2-stroke. KX something to go with the 327 like 125 and or 250
Realistically a good 250F. A slimmer lighter 450. Honda has already dropped like 9lbs. The YZ450 sales probably went through the roof with the slimmer (most recent) version. Updated RMZs would outsell all of these.
Other sales - simple 4-stroke: better lighter KLX 140/230, same with Honda Yamaha.
I think anything electric, if it’s not too heavy, big, or expensive. Saw a vid of an e-converted ‘04ish RM125 and the guy was jumping it so easily, looked like he was floating. It was super simple, motor, controller, and battery. No gas, no oil, just a charger. The environment is getting used to electric.
Racing scooter you say?? Them italjets straight sexxy
I’d have thrown yellow bike in the mix but I’ll believe refined/electric start modern RMZ when I see one.
The sleeper for 2027 may be the 450 Honda works!
