Supposedly grown men having meltdowns over a 20 year old, following him on socials just to make comments.  I'm a super fan and I don't even follow him on socials.  Deegan doesn't give two shits about your or anyone else's criticisms and I'm sure that eats you up because you and several others jump in every thread to say something.

It’s okay, Brian. Relax

Deegan will make more $$ this month than you do all year!  I don't think he's crying, buddy.

But let's look at Lucas' first three MXGP race results:

They were 7-8; 9-8; 3-3 respectively.

Deegan's first three race results (against a deeper field than the 2025 MXGP class):

5-4; 3-3; 4-3 respectively.

Deegan is doing just fine and there is no shame in his finishes given that everyone who finished ahead of him are not in their rookie season in the class.  Same with his 250 rookie season, he built and got better as the season progressed and came out swinging the following season.  Expect that again.

You're not doing yourself a favor with that post tho. I know you don't even watch MXGP but Lucas almost missed the opener in 2025 because he came in injured and didn't ride for a month or so, so that isn't a valuable benchmark at all. Lucas is obviously the better rider now and also only 19 years old, raced the track for the first time in his life and absolutely gapped Deegan.

Deegan is doing fine, he has the mindset and grit, but he doesn't have the skill and technique to match either Lucas or Jett. He might win some races here n there in the future, for sure. But most of the time he'll have his hands full getting on the podium.

How about another stat, if Deegan doesn't win next weekend he has the same amount of losses as Jett in his whole 450 MX career so far. Believe the hype.

By the way, why do you delete so many posts currently, are you ashamed of yourself?

It's interesting you brought that up, because I am not deleting my posts.  A moderator is though.  I made several posts yesterday, and within minutes they were gone.

As far as the rest of what you said, no need to reply. It's just the same talking points that Deegan will never beat so and so (all of whom have been on the 450 much longer) even though Deegan is only three races into his 450 career.

They were not as bad as initially reported.  It was a pre-season injury and Lucas was good to race by the season opener, so even though this is an excuse thread, stop making excuses.

Lucas did good that season and finished second overall, without Gajser and Herlings in for the full season.  Point of my post is that Deegan is racing a deeper field than the class has seen in years, it's his rookie season, and he is doing fine.

Huh that's funny because I heard it was worse than initially reported and he almost didn't make round 2 after racing Argentina. Anyway, comparing rookies in two different series is pretty dumb. You can't say one is deeper than the other either. RJ sits 4th in points, I wouldn't call this class deep beyond the top 3.
If youre gonna compare you have to compare him against other 250 outdoor champions. The last 3 would be Jett Hunter and Dylan. You may not like what you find out tho

It’s insane that a generation that grew up listening to punk rock, driving sick ass cars and riding 2 strokes in the hills grew up to become boomer pussies. Maybe it’s time for you all to go watch nascar. Sad.

I can say one is deeper because it is.  At the start of the 2025 series, reigning champing Prado wasn't there, and a couple rounds in Gasjer was out.

At the opening round of the AMA series, we had Jett, Hunter, Prado, Eli, and Sexton so Deegan definitely faced a deeper field.

Lol, they are purposely ignoring him, so they are definitely thinking about him.  Based on what Deegan has said in the past, we know the ignoring is fueling him to work MUCH harder.  He has shown more speed and already finished better than I expected.  He will get there.  I don't expect him to finish behind Jett and Hunter for the next 10 years.  I don't like his style of shit talking, but it is making him rich.

In the beginning of the season I thought the Lawrence’s decision to not talk about Deegs was a smart move. It seemed like the only available move to avoid drama. But now it’s starting to get kinda psycho. They won’t even talk about the epic battling that we are witnessing. It’s like they want to pretend none of it happened. The avoidance is becoming cringe and they are seeming more and more like weirdos.

So to judge depth of the class in the first 3 rounds you're counting out Gajser who got hurt after 6 rounds but you're counting in Eli who did 30% of a lap? Cool story bro, I'm out

Eh idc call me a deegan fanboy or whatever you want. I like the kid. He’s showing promise and he’s already looking like THE usa guy right now. He’s exciting and even if you hate him you’re glued to the tv and can’t deny feeling the excitement when he’s battling Jett and hunter. This season would already be a snooze fest without him. Interviews are also boring without him and you haters know it. Finally some personality in the sport. Jett got harassed about a donut comment and hasn’t been the same since. Deegan dgaf. Hope he never changes.

I said "at the opening round"; when Deegan lined up it was against Jett, Hunter, Prado, Eli, and Chase. If it will make you feel better, remove Eli, and it was still a deeper field. I'm slapping down facts.

Jett turned a donut comment into a marketing machine. Not sure what you are talking about with that comment.

I do enjoy watching him race he makes it more interesting. But it would still be interesting without all his hysterics.

Just stay on your main account bro, the whole thing you did for the past 6 months or so didn't pay off. All the time you've invested, all the weird edited Deegan pictures in your little crush folder. Everyone just thinks you're annoying, every thread you join like fat Lich you ruin with your stupid ragebaits and pictures that nobody but you finds funny by the way. Even mods are starting to delete your posts because you're so obnoxious. Like a mosquito making stupid sounds once you're trying to sleep. The whole thing is just sad.

It's going about how I expected. Started out with seeing where he fit in. And then improving on that each week. Just like he has done at other points in his career. When he went from a supermini to a big bike, when he came into the Pro class outdoors, then Supercross, and now the 450 class.

I was saying that I expected him to finish around 5th in the first round.  That he would be happy with it and then reset his goals for the next one .

He has gone into each class and learned. Starting out with a race to feel things out, then set a goal and achieve it before.  Top 5, top 3,  lead a race and battle with leaders , and next step is  win a moto and then start racing for wins. That next step may take a bit longer in the 450 class than it has on the smaller bikes since his style fit them better. But he's a fast learner and I'm sure by the end of this season he will be leading more of each moto and making things harder for the Lawrences to be 1st and second every round.

I think he has an RC like will to win, when he sets his mind on winning. And I don't think he will be happy until he's right there winning overalls.  I'm excited to watch the progress and see how others respond.  Hopefully they all stay healthy and we get  some good battles  and an exciting season.

I don’t care where the rider is from, just how they ride and how they act off the track.  Are they fun to watch ride and someone I think is cool or want to see win? I could give a fuck less at this point.  Most of these dudes are Americans.  Ask Kenny if he’s American.

That’s cool man. I appreciate all of these guys and don’t have an ounce of hate for any one of them. Do I want an American rider on home soil to do well, of course. I don’t love seeing mxgp guys come over and give our guys the business. But here we are.

All nice answers, except to the question asked. 😅

I personally think he does great but can image it stings when you write a check you can’t (yet) catch before the mx world watching. His face showed clearly after the races. Wonder if he somehow feels stupid about the shirt now..

Same, no hate for any of them.  I would like to see an American win.  It was SUPER cool to see Roczen win though.  I would really like to see somebody step up and beat Jett.

Sexton on a bike he hates doesn’t could kid. He also should have beat him both motos at pala. You thought your boy would. 1-1 pala and he’s been 20+ back 6 motos in a row now. Gg ez for Jett

Lucas had absolutely nothing for Deegs, Hunter, or Jett in Moto 1. He closed in on Jett a bit only after both Deegs and Hunter crashed and Jett went in to race management mode. Had Deegs and Hunter not crashed Lucas would have been a distant 4th. He rode smart and benefited with a 2nd overall but he doesn’t have the raw speed of those top 3. Not even close. Deegs had the 11th gate pick for Moto 2 and got a terrible start, he didn’t start anywhere near Lucas or Jett who were both out front right away. “Gapping” people is reserved for when they actually start together or top 5 or 6 at least. Hunter gave it everything he had in Moto 2 to beat Deegs and couldn’t seal the deal, and Hunter is far superior right now to Lucas.

NGL, was kinda sick seeing them jump almost 3 wide for the 1st 10-15 min. Hope to see more of it.

Re-watch the race, Lucas with a mid start was slowly inching up on them. He was 9-10 seconds back with 20 minutes to go and around 5-6 seconds back behind Jett with 12 min to go (that's when Deegan crashed btw). Deegan was on the absolute edge and had to ride at 110% and use his cheater line seven times to keep pace with Jett. He almost crashed twice already before he actual went down. Lucas was only 3 seconds behind behind Hunter right before Hunter crashed, he was consistently turning in better laps than both Deegan and Hunter in the second half of the race.

So yes, without the cheater line (seven times btw) Lucas absolutely blows by Deegan at the end of the moto, Deegan couldn't sustain that speed for the whole moto obviously, just like Hangtown if you remember. He was also right there with Hunter at Hangtown until the second half of the race and then lost pace. The race is 30 min btw, not 15 or 20. Doesn't matter how fast Deegan is in the first half of the race if he couldn't sustain that pace. Lucas whooped his ass and he is just 19, if you can't deal with it, you better prepare yourself to what will happen at Soutwick.

Meh. Lucas was weak sauce, although smart. He never even showed Jett a wheel like Deegs did. He had every opportunity to give Jett something in Moto 2 and he couldn’t even sniff the rear wheel much less push him like the boys did in Moto 1. He’s Jorge 2.0 and he’s gonna get destroyed in SX so maybe prepare yourself for that. Unfortunately, Southwick is only once a year, should be fun though.
