Wow, that MXGP qualifier was something else to watch! Those 4 guys battling lap after lap being so close was awesome!

Lotte Van Drunen had a very scary prang over the Big Jump in the first lap of the second Moto 

Mid Air collision. 

She was the only one going down, being the 'hitter', but is just circulating at near the rear at the moment.

Bugger, 'Cuzzie Sis' Duncan just went down. 

What a fuckup of a track. Passing was shithouse. Track needs a major change. I still watched every lap though. Yes I did enjoy the racing but the lack of passing was a bummer.

Lotte rejoined almost 2 mins down, pulled back to 18th. Lap times in the second half of the race were faster than the leaders. Tough kid - that one looked like it hurt.

The track is really heavy now. 

How did McLellan get to the front in the quality race?leaders go down?

Coenen went down whilst leading. 

First time in person at the "cute little teut" and it's gonna be mudfest... i was hoping for first motos under clear skies. 😪

As unpredictable these next motos are going to be, I think it's a racing certainty that Crasher Sacha won't be able to keep it on two wheels.

Yes, nearest city is Liepzig. You pass the old “Iron Curtain “ border and look out towers on the way to track from the West.

Leipzig is where Werner Heisenberg won the Nobel prize for incorrectly describing the strong nuclear force holding the nucleus of atoms together.

While visiting him there, Sicilian physicist Ettore Majorana corrected Heisenberg's description of this force, which, when broken, provides fission energy.

Next to Antonio Cairoli, Ettore has to be Sicily's most famous person. Both of these guys were good at disappearing.

Herlings could lose a load of points if he can’t move forward. 

Yep, and sadly he just pulled out of the race, felt like something happened after he tried to pass Jonas he started to loose time / spots and now he walked out of the pits...

Herlings out! Looks like a mechanical. 

When he got passed by De Wolfe it looked like Herlings was trying to adjust the clutch, maybe it’s fried. 

such a one lined shitty track ... passing only happens when someone makes mistakes or crashes 

Yep, always the same, probably my least favourite track on the calendar & that includes the flyaways. 

Febvre small scrap with Renaux and going down and struggling to get the bike going again, looks like potential dnf even!

and just got a 10 years extension contract with MXGP ... there are so many beautiful great tracks in Europe ... money rules he 

Even Roczen could fire Up his Suzuki faster than Febvre

Big swing in the championship after the 1st race, if Coenen gets a decent start in moto 2 I think it’ll be curtains for the other riders. Heading in Latvia next weekend where he’ll dominate.
