Newsom confiscates $1.8 billion from Jan. 6 defendants

This is the guy that lectures about "tyranny." He says he's just going to take the $1.8 billion secured by Trump for Jan. 6 defendants. This is laughably illegal, but CA taxpayers will have to pay the millions or tens of millions of dollars in legal fees that will result from the legal challenges.

The CA state government is nothing more than a criminal enterprise. They also passed legislation trying to protect the fraudsters being exposed by Nick Shirley. Why anybody would vote for these scumbags is beyond me. It would be so awesome if we got a Republican governor and LA Mayor. Even my most liberal friends admit to me that Newsom is a criminal. I say this as a guy who was a Democrat until almost 50 years old.

As if we needed any more evidence that Newsom is a tyrant and scoundrel. Clearly, he hates regular joes and probably wants us all to die.

I heard this morning that California has been controlled for the last 80 years by four families; Newsome, Pelosi, Hearst and Brown (if my shaky short term memory isn’t failing me, lol) and that Ronald Reagan was the only interrupter of that chain of control.

Hope California wakes up and makes a change.  Socialism isn’t all that and a bag doughnuts.

Whether or not you agree with the court's findings on that matter, the due proceeds of a federal court case should not be subject to a 100% tax from a state. In this case, any such tax is purely political posturing.

So is a slush fund for J6. You can’t look at that last two DOJ’s and think they aren’t just extensions of the executive branch.

Considering the fucked up BS some went through due to that fabricated situation,  sure, give them money.  This would depend on the individual experience,  of course.

There is a lot of evidence that Jan. 6 was enabled by rogue elements of the government. Some of the prosecutions and witch hunts for people that did no more than walk in the building (not itself even illegal) were chilling. The Biden Administration ruthlessly hunted down and terrorized thousands of people. So yes, I do.

In any case, Newsom has zero authority to do this. The governor has no power to levy taxes or seize funds appropriated by the US Congress. He knows this. I think the guy is on serious drugs.

What is chilling is people who openly committed violent assault on law enforcement, called for the death of the Vice President with nooses in hand, and tried (successfully for a few hours) to stop the peaceful transfer of power, were not only pardoned but now have a billion dollar slush fund to milk for their deeds. That stuff is all on video, lots of it.

Just as chilling is that all of that is found to be perfectly acceptable by some of the voting public.

Maybe he's using the $$$ to set up a fund for those citizens who were burnt out of their palisades homes.

What you may not know is that the "peaceful transfer of power" was never scheduled for Jan. 6th, because that's not the day mandated for the "transfer of power." Jan. 20th is the day that the newly-elected president is always inaugurated. Jan. 20th, 2021 was just as peacful a transfer of power as has ever happened.

A couple hours of rioting on Jan. 6th didn't stop anything at all. It didn't change a single thing in any way.

Funny what is deemed a riot and what is deemed a peaceful protest.

That whole "we should be tough on crime except when that crime that makes me happy and definitely not when it makes you happy" is part of the mass modern narcissistic selfishness that's ruining the morality of the people in this nation. People used to have ideologies and would stick to them, especially when they make them unhappy. That's what making American great again would actually look like, to be consistent with ideologies especially when you don't like it.

Jan 6th was pre-planned and orchestrated by Dems in preparing for a Trump win...

They even did dry runs before Jan 6th.

It's coming out now, as it should.
