It means the media and many teams likely know the details or possibly have even ridden the bike, but they are under embargo until the launch date Honda has set. That day, at a certain time, the media can post articles, videos, reviews etc. This allows the media to prepare articles and videos and it assists with the launch overall.
I already know a lot, but I signed NDAs (non-disclosure agreements) about the information I was given, and I was also in Japan for something pertaining to this. But per the NDA, I can't disclose those details until a certain date and time. In this case, that'll be sometime this week.
One of the teams told me they'd already been invoiced, but had no idea what they would be getting. I thought that was odd.
Nice bike but we need to have a little talk about side plate number angles.

Looks like big changes to the engine. Frame and subframe look very similar to the naked eye though I'm sure they will change slightly.
Those Factory MXGP bike graphics are a hot mess. The bike looks good otherwise.
Edit: I like the ‘Honda’, just not the mess around the number plate. I hope the ‘27 doesn’t come with a blue rear fender.
It's massive changes to get rotating mass towards cg. I'm very curious.
I’m dropping a lot of unpopular opinions today but I love those factory graphics
I agree. I said that when they came out. Yeah, a bit crowded with petronas and monster graphics but I love the red and blue. I'm getting bored of factory bike graphics looking as stock as possible. It used to be so exciting seeing waiting for the first pro round to see the new bike graphics for the pro teams - now they're usually almost EXACTLY like the stock bikes.
Change it up, have some creativity.
Ml,
Any chance of a new displacement bike?
Really crappy edit of what a 2027 450R WE might look like.
Hoping for a silver tank, green, black trim. Original CR250”
At least the shrouds don't look like leftovers from the 1980s spare parts bin.
So, a blue rear fender and shrouds… 🤔
The relocation of the clutch and crank, and the new cylinder angle has me really intrigued. 2021+ already feel way lighter than they really are while in motion, and this may be another leap.
Thursday 10ampst...
9 lbs lighter, crazy if true
Not seeing anything on the Honda website. What were you referring to here?
Pit Row
That’s when the embargo ends and the info will be released by the media….they are not going to give you a schedule on their website…
I think it’s been said that a 1.5 - 1.7 gallon tank of gas weighs 9 lbs. The last time Honda cut that much weight was going from dual to single sided exhaust (6lbs).
Unless you’re talking about GPs where there are no weight limits (or any limits at all).
Well, it's Wednesday, so.
It's Thursday the 28th in Tokyo.. Just sayin. Blah, blah, blah whatever other details...
AM PST means something , just sayin.
Well it does depend on whether the 9 lbs savings is a dry or wet weight number…
If it's truly PST, it sounds like it means they won't be making the announcement until after November 1st... since they're currently under PDT until then. 😄
Cant see them getting 9 lbs off from 250f.
Gas weighs approx. 6 lbs/gal (depends on specific blend) and is what I use when guesstimating fuel weight based on tank capacity.
Details, details, whatever...
Actually it will be released only in the Pitcairn Islands which are GMT -8, same as PST.
