Marchbanks went 2-8 at High Point for 6th overall. 

Unless you want to count Roczen as a privateer when he went 2-2 at High Point.

You're not completely wrong but be honest to yourself, you think it would have made any difference that summer? Sexton was even faster than in 2022 and he couldn't lead a single lap. He looked utterly out of control in several races and couldn't even make a pass attempt.

It's so crazy, re-watching 2022 races Sexton and Tomac looked like they reached the absolute limit every single moto. Sexton looked the same behind Jett in 2023 (and he said it himself in 2023 that he is even going faster that year), they also put an insane gap on 3rd most weekends and Jett still looked like he was just cruising out there. 

I do think that based on what we have seen at the final race in Pala 2022 that Tomac might even had a bit more in the tank than Sexton that time around and it's a tragedy what happened to him in 2023 SX, he might could have pushed Jett even more in 2023, but yeah.. coulda woulda shoulda

 

Oh I know right. I have thought about that. It makes you wonder had all the guys been on the line would they have been able to push Jett into mistakes. I have no idea cause Jett is so good.

Here are some facts not bias as well, if you include all his crashed out missed races and seasons his win percentage is 72.7% overalls and 66.7% moto wins. Still amazing, but won’t be the GOAT like RC cause he did it all in only 6 years.

He also seems to learn faster than anyone else out there. I’m not saying he’s gonna win right away but at the same time I wouldn’t be surprised. Either way I don’t have a doubt that Haiden will eventually figure out how to go Jett speed.

Most times Jett is the only person to beat Jett. When he crashes out of races and entire seasons obviously the entire field beats him. But, when he has lined up for races on a 450 very few have beat him.

2024

Chase sexton beat Jett at Hangtown both motos for the overall, but Jett had a gnarly crash there. Jett won every race after that until season ending injury round 5.


2025

Chase sexton beat Jett at washougal moto 1 and iron man moto 1.

Hunter Lawrence moto 1 beat Jett and took the overall.

MXdN

2022 - iron man

Dylan Ferrandis and Chase Sexton beat Jett in qualifier.

Maxime Renaux beat Jett in MXGP + Open race.

 


2023 - Ernee

Romain Febvre, Jorge Prado, Ken Roczen, Jeremy Seewer, Aaron Plessinger all beat Jett.



2024 - Matterley Basin

Tim Gajser straight up beat him no incident in MXGP + Open race.


2025 - Iron man

Hunter Lawrence and Eli Tomac beat Jett Lawrence in MXGP + Open race. 

quite an amazing list of stats. Typically Jett only beats Jett when he lines up. Which adds to why Deeg’s has a much harder rookie season than Jett did.

Tomac hasn’t been 2022 Tomac at any point outdoors. He doesn’t seem to like that new gen Yamaha.


So curious how he’ll be on the Ktm, hoping to see a1 Eli outdoors.


Hoping to see mxgp Jorge.


Jett hasn’t faced 2026 Hunter before, nobody has. He’s different this year than ever before.


If Jett waxes all these guys handily, then yeah sure he’s insane. He’s clearly a bad mama jama already, but 23 really wasn’t close to 26 on paper.


Even sexton, he’s atleast somewhat healthy for a couple months now, he had a big one mid sx, but if he’s got a couple months of motos in the bank by Pala, he may be better than we’ve seen, only question mark is will kawi get him comfortable outdoors to hold that thing wide open down some hills like he’ll need to be for a whole moto.


I expect Jorge to holeshot plenty of motos and challenge him, I expect deegan to be super aggro and sprint and go like hell if given the chance.  I think if Daytona Eli shows up, he will push anyone to the end.


I’m excited. I think we all should be.


If Jett manages to make this season a snoozer I’ll be in awe, but for sure a little sad lmao.
