When did i say he had to win every week to deserve a ride?

He gets paid to ride, yet he rides like he doesnt give a shit about what position he gets. He has no desire to win, or even run close to the front anymore. You can tell by the way he's riding.

Thats why he doesnt deserve his ride. They need to give more kids like Decotis rides instead of people like Alessi. They need to pay people who ACTUALLY care about winning and producing good results. Not some guy that goes out there and puts in the minimum amount of effort.

Yeah Mike! Great effort there! 17th place while your teammate Short is running 9th on the same bike.

Man you definately deserve that factory ride.

The best Mike ever did in a series was on a KTM. Look it up.

Was this before or after Stewart whooped him by 40 seconds in every moto or when RV2 decided to take the summer off and basically hand him the title??

that doesnt really prove much if you ask me...
I'm no Alessi fan, but you're a fucking idiot.

No offence.

Die hard Alessi fans are soft. He is doing SHIT. You know things are bad when you pat his back for making the main. His career, considering his potential has been pretty tragic in my opinion. Worst part is his childhood rival is on fire and actually living up to his potential.

Im a fan of Mike and have been since his mini days, he seems to have no confidence for sx and is possibly holding back until outdoors where he should be top 5-3 speedwise, hopefully his confidence has returned by then.

As far as RV , some guys win at the amatuer level and do nothing as a pro, and other guys its vice versa , amatuer titles are not any gaurantee of success at the pro level.

I agree, but I'm sure its still some thing Alessi thinks about on the bad days.

I think it was a bad move putting Mike on the 350 knowing that he is a big bike specialist. KTM sells both bikes so why not put him back on the 450 that way there is one rider on each bike this year.

Just a thought......

Isn't Mike contracted to do outdoors only for KTM? If so, then does it really matter how he finishes if he's using the series to better his SX skills and stay in racing shape for the outdoors. Not to mention not riding over his head and getting injured.

Decoster said Mike wants to get ready for the outdoors but Supercross is important to the company so that's why he riding the series. Decoster also said Mike doesn't believe in himself when it comes to Supercross. You can see the concern and caring in Decoster's face, kind of like a dad (a normal dad) would show.

Think what you want, but for someone to be on a factory bike, and get congratulated just for making a main event is bullshit.

And then to get 17th in the main? LOL. He doesnt deserve the ride he has.

Agreed. I can think of a couple more riders who are in this situation as well.

Sign these guys to incentive based contracts. No more just collecting paychecks.

Shouldn't a factory rider be able to make the main no matter what? To prove the haters wrong he needs to run top 5. We'll see him on VMS or Motoconcepts next year.
