I'm going to feel really good and really bad no matter what happens next weekend. Both have put their all in to this season.

Or Hunter's take-out of Kenny in the sand at Seattle...

How many positions and points did that cost Kenny? Was it like 15 points?

If memory serves, I think that if Hunter passed him cleanly, they probably would have finished 4-5.

Instead, they finished 4-10.

I dont believe Hunter took Kenny out on purpose. He used that exact same move on JCoop earlier, he just misjudged it on Kenny. It was just a racing incident, but it might make a difference after SLC.

Well, Kenny was running in 3rd but Hunter catched him and would have passed him anyways, so at worse Kenny would have gotten 4th that night. With the incident Instead of 4th (18 points) he got 10th (12 points). So he basically lost 6 points that race due to that incident/takeout.

With how fast Hunter was going that night in the second half of the main there was a good chance for him to even get Webb for 2nd. That move was obviously dumb and cost both guys, Kenny even more due to having to kick his bike.

Both are deserving and both are class acts. I'm going for Kenny because, A-I grew up on Suzukis, and B-the story of Kenny winning this thing has soooo many layers and he will break a bunch of records if he does it. Not to mention the hourglass on him winning this title is running short on sand.

Another reason I want Hunter to win is I like the idea of 38 ripping the #1 plate away from both Lawrences

After he asks Hunter to sign it and hangs it on his wall?  <3

Hunter probably finishes 2nd if he stays up, in which case he would've gained 4, so the amount of points Ken lost to Hunter assuming Hunter would've got 2nd and Ken would've got 4th is 2, which would change the points today to Ken having a 3 point lead instead of a 1 point lead, which would not affect the outcome of the championship if Hunter and Ken go 1-2 at the final round since they would tie and Hunter would have the tiebreaker.

That was a mouthful

For me and most fans it seems, no matter the outcome of the next race, it is going to be very bitter sweet. I want both of these guys to be champion so bad and I have a tough time deciding who I want more.

It seems as Deegan should win every series from here on out until he retires, barring injury or bike failure.
Hopefully someone will step up and give him some competition.

I do think he will win a moto in Pala.
