There's an embedded video in my post.  If you can't see it, a 14 yr old kid on a Surron hit and killed an 81 yr old decorated Vietnam war veteran pilot.   The kid's mom has been charged with a list of crimes for letting her kid ride the illegal e-bike on public streets, including involuntary manslaughter.

Oh no!

Rear sprocket is identical.

Fuel tank looks the same.

Frame and Swingarm look similar.

All you guys that hate on it need to remember the Japanese went through the same industrial revolution in the later 60s and early 70s. Nobody was riding Japanese bikes at one point and now look at them. The Chinese are in the midst of that. As someone who has plenty of stuff manufactured (non-moto), I have a few good vendors in China and the quality is just as good if not better than some of the vendors I have stateside.

Not sure what you’re looking at. If anything it looks like a Honda with a Yamaha front fender.

Swingarm, frame, look nothing a like.

If its anything like the ADV bikes coming out of China, then don't believe any of the numbers. They like to lie.

I remember the early 70s bikes from Japan.  Hell, I owned a couple as a kid.  I never saw any of them come from the factory with wheel bearings that had an 1/8 to 1/4 inch of wobble in them.  And compared to the competition then, mainly from Europe, they were light years ahead in terms of metallurgy, fit and finish, engineering/design, durability, etc.

I wouldn’t buy one , but maybe it will drive the price down on the established brands.
