I just listened to the Gypsy podcast the other day with Brandon Haas, very insightful about what ClubMX is doing on the race team front.

For those that are interested in financial numbers of race teams, Brandon doesn't hold back. When they had Muc-Off and FXR the Club team was at a $2M yearly operating budget. Losing those sponsors this year, it makes sense that only Coty and Max are getting salaries and I assume the spots that Yoder and Simonson have are bonus-only structure.

The value of the Club facility brings A LOT to the table IMO - nutritionist, world class facility and some riding coach named Chad something..

If SMX next is the feeder class that it’s claimed to be, you’d hope that the kid who won the series last year would’ve at the very least had an opportunity at a pro ride with club.  Ideally kids winning that series would have factory rides, as plenty of the people Fedorstov beat do.

He had an offer, his parents didn’t like it.

not to throw anyone under the bus but I heard on a certain podcast that the offer was not for him to turn pro, but to stay amateur

Acknowledging you were wrong and giving props? Sir, you are on the wrong forum.

I said everyone was too high on Hunter because of his outdoor results and he was more of a top 5 sx guy. Doh!  Also Davies was the fastest 250 sx rider in the world. Lots of crow being eaten this year lol

So what does Club even do?  They train amateurs? Anyone with money can go?  Or do you need to be invited

I would imagine they offer spots to riders that they think have potential, and the scale of who's paying who is dependent on how good the rider is.

The website says the facility sits on 200 acres.

They have open practice days, it’s not everyday.
they open up other tracks for certain open practice days through out the year. tracks are well prepared and session go smoothly. Staff is always super polite.
