With an American in the EMX 125cc class. Sawyer Gieck (#118).

He didn't do badly with a 6th place last weekend in Saint-Jean-D'Angely (French Junior Championship).

I think he won at Mini O's, good to see him having a go rather than busting out laps at the compound.

Expecting nothing of a 13 year old.

It's the 2 stroke - in case you are wondering if  it's the recently shown in the Italian series, 250F.

EMX 250 has Equivalency - a regulation that Should be in Every Bloody High end series.

As to the 13 year old American in EMX125 - I was quite surprised at how young they can be in EMX125, when I went looking at the various age rules, recently. Explained why I often saw tiny little blighters out there, side by side with the  Man Mountain  ( inevitably) Scandinavians / Northern Europeans .

Good luck to the young bloke, as philG said, better real racing than Compound circulating. The US National series, should  have a real 125 class - at least a Junior type one as EMX125 is .

Strange that the team let him race the British round last weekend.

No Jamie Keith either who is arguably UK’s best up & coming 250 rider.

Coolest place to ride, worst place for spectating ! it’s always a lot hotter than in central Europe right now so curious to see the fitness level of the guys with the rough track and big bumps! Kay’s first podium or win?

The question this weekend is will Lucas win by 30+ seconds instead of 15 like last race….and how many times can Sacha crash and still have a chance to get on the podium. I say 3

Kay fastest in free practice. I hope he gets good starts this weekend.

Really like this track, casually watching time practice sessions, Gajser just put in a good lap!

This could be a good race this weekend, lovely sand conditions

It's great track ( cue someone calling it a  goat track....)

I love sand tracks, especially ones with a bit of up and down - well as much as they can. Lommel, one of the most Brutal tracks on Earth, is as flat as a Maggot after an Elephant Stampede. Though, I daresay,  nowadays, as a near 'sit down all the time old man', I'd Not get a lap around it without going 'tits up'.

Always very few spectators there - as there are buggerall viewing areas - I daresay they are Not allowed to do Anything with the Dune Vegetation. But, I think this may be one of the Italian tracks that Luongo has a stake  in, or a lease - Maggiora and Mantova, I think are part of his purview so, he probably 'charges' himself SFA.

As I said, I love sand tracks, having grown up on them, and their very opposite - Hard Pack. Perfect Loam, I never knew what to do with..... 🤪.

Though, by their nature, as they dig into the ground, you get those 'walls' that can eat a rider alive / twist Knees, Ankles and Hips.

And, Bugger Bugger Bugger!

I just saw a Blaklader banner (it's Workwear). Though it's Not Blackadder, I bloody well see it, and I instantly have the Blackadder Theme song ear wormed into my Bear Brain...... 😂

The youngsters on their Bee Swarmers are just about to race !

Enormously impressive, started mid-pack and kept going forward. Got as high as 9th before dropping 2 places on the last lap.

On a deep sand track. At 13.

It sucks for Goyer going out of the lead with a sick bike.

Sawyer Gieck did good considering he was 20th on lap 1. I doubt he's ridden too many deep sand tracks.

Well Garcia continues his dominance of EMX250. But, had to come through from a little bit back.

Faure led for some time, to then have a 'Big One', then a 'tuck the front son' prang, then, as Malin said, I think, a 'Drying His Arms ' incident. As in, his arms to the Sky, while his bike went flying out from under him, through the air. Track is unrelenting.

I've got 3 screens going - 1 on the MXGP 1st day, one on Race Day Live, and the little Teev in the corner, which I forgot was on, has the  Snowpiercer TV series on - SBS seems to re-run it,  or, out of order, late nights a few times each week. - They seem to be forever slaughtering each other in various, near Medieval Ways, all while in a bloody Train.

Might stay up through to dawn, / past dawn, and put one eye on the MXGP and MX2 qualis, and the other on the SX, with that being on in the daytime, this time . I'll be the opposite of cross eyed by the  Sunday night MXGP main races.
