Back in the war my opa rode one as a scout for the luftwaffe, had it shipped in from Japan.

Every time a new model comes out the stupid media says the older one was better anyway.  So why take a chance making a new RMz, just for dipshit mags and media outlets to hate on it. I could hear it now:  yeah they have electric start now, and got a kyb shock now, but the engine is just too slow to hang with the leaders.  Yeah it does have 15 more HP than a Yamaha, but our testers’ seat of the pants “feel” says it feels “uninspiring “ and “lethargic”.   And of course what our testers feel is more important than lap times or data

SOME RIDERS ARE JUST WAY TOO NIT PICKY AND ARE NEVER HAPPY WITH THEI BIKE AND CONSTANTLY CHANGING STUFF. EVERY MX BIKE I EVER OWNED, I SET THE SAG WHEN I GOT IT HOME AND THAT WAS IT. GAIN 10 LBS, OR LOSE 15, NEVER TOUCH IT, JUST CHANGE THE OIL, CLEAN THE AIR FILTER AND RIDE. CHANGE THE TORQUE ON THE SEAT MOUNTING BOLTS? WTH WOULD I DO THAT?

And this is why you have so many championships at the highest level level! 😃

Yeah you're right, Suzuki should be applauded for putting nothing into improving their bikes. Kenny is riding amazing on a bike he gels with and has ridden for years. I dont know if its the I told you so people are making it out to be. Why isn't the class littered with privateers on Zooks if the bike is so great? Especially when they're affordable compared to the other bikes.

If he wins this title Suzuki will never update the bike again.

If he wins (fingers crossed) what does that say for other in the class chasing the 'perfect set up' ???

It says....

If it ain't broke don't fix it! The 19-23 Kawi 450 was a magical bike. There was absolutely no reason to change it. Same with a lot of other bike models. MFG's don't need to re-invent the wheel every four years.

Sure,  but there's also changing with the times.  Very few like the RMZ 450 shock.  The 250 suspension isn't close, and its down on power when you compare it to other models.

Cinderella story.

No real bike development in years.  Tier 2 team.  Kenny and all the adversity he has faced.  I would love to see it.

It could reignite Suzuki.

Suzuki play a long game

5 years is nothing

Suzuki does not waste money

Ordered a 2026 Hayabusa and 40th anniversary gsxr1000rr for my shop

Marketing departments have convinced you that:

Newer = Better

When in fact, reality dictates that:

Newer = Newer

 Better = Better
